Deputies were dispatched to Casa Rufina Road in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival deputies investigation revealed the suspect battered his girlfriend. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail without further incident.

Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Old Las Vegas HWY in reference to a burglary. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who stated that suspect(s) unlawfully took his enlclosed utility trailer containing multiple tools inside. The area was canvassed for evidence. This case remains under investigation.

On 10-08-15 Ms. Caraza-Gomez brought Suboxone into the visiting area of the jail and was caught attempting to pass it to inmate Maestas. Ms. Montano was present with Ms. Caraza-Gomez and was found to be in possession of suboxone as well.

Arrested: Adan Cardenas (33 yoa male from Santa Fe)
The above driver was stopped for speeding and a tint violation. Upon making contact with the driver, he smelled heavily of an intoxicating beverage. Dep. Ontiveros was dispatched to the scene and assumed the investigation. The driver submitted to field sobriety tests and showed numerous signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and his vehicle was siezed due to 3 prior DWI convictions.
