Arrested Person: John Jaramillo – 29 – Homeless
During a routine search, an inmate was found to have a controlled substance (Suboxone) hidden in his clothing. The suspect stated he found the Suboxone and decided to keep it for later use.
The suspect was rebooked into the jail for the possession of the controlled substance.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:05pm, while Deputy was patrolling the area, Deputy conducted a welfare check on the suspect. Suspect was found to have an active warrant for her arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest for the warrant and upon searching the suspect, incident to arrest, she was found in possession of Methamphetamine and items used to use the Methamphetamine. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Suspect(s): Pending
Victim reported that sometime between 7:30 am and 9:00 pm on 9-14-2015, unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered her residence through the front door and stole above mentioned items. Victim stated he had secured the door when he left the residence. Victim estimated the property stolen to be approximately $365.00 This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Arrested Person: Rino Leija – 57 – Santa Fe, NM
The suspect, who was intoxicated, attempted to purchase alcoholic beverages at a convenience store, but was denied service and law enforcement was contacted.
Deputies located the suspect a short distance away and a DWI investigation showed that he was impaired. A subsequent breathalyzer test showed readings of .18 and .18 (Aggravated DWI)
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility.
The suspect’s vehicle was seized due to his record showing two prior DWI’s

Victim reported that on this date sometime between 2:00 pm and 8:00pm, unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the residence by damaging the front door window with a prying tool. Victim stated various electronics were stolen from inside the residence.This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Victim reported he left his residence on 9-13-2015 around 10:45 a.m. and returned in the evening hours to his residence finding the gate chain to his residence damaged. Upon checking his property, he noticed the above items were stolen. Victim valued the stolen property to be approximately $5,625.00. This incidenct is currently under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

Missing: Erica Lopez age 15 5'4" 100 lbs, Brown Hair, Brown eyes, bull ring peircing on nose.
The above juvenile was last seen at the Santa Fe Place Mall on September 11, 2015 as her mother dropped the juvenile off with her friends. The juvenile has contacted her mother via text message stating she was not returning home, but would return to school on September 14, 2015. She was entered into NCIC as a missing person.
