On 04-05-15 at about 12:30AM the above defendant was involved in an argument with his girlfriend. The argument became physical and he battered the victim by striking her in the head several times. He was placed under arrest accordingly.

Arrested: Tom Trujillo, 54-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 04-04-15 at about 5:30PM Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the Family Dollar on Airport Road. Upon arrival contact was made with witnesses the driver of a red in color Chevrolet Blazer backed into another vehicle and left the scene. The Chevrolet Blazer along with the driver, Mr. Trujillo was located in the Tierra Real neighborhood behind the Family Dollar. Mr. Trujillo was found to be intoxicated and placed under arrest,

Arrested: Dustin Rhodes, 27-year-old male from Albuquerque N.M.
On 04-03-15 at approximately 10:00PM A traffic stop was conducted on a 2014 silver in color Volvo because the driver, Mr. Rhodes failed to dim his headlights. Upon contacting the driver he was found to be driving while his license was suspended. Further investigation revealed he was in possession of several small baggies of Methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Charges- Aggravated Battery Against a Household Member w/ A Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Damage to Property
Deputies responded to above location regarding an assault. Victim reported being struck with a baseball bat by her ex-boyfriend. A male subject who attempted to intervene was also struck with the baseball bat. The female recieved minor injuries and was treated by EMS. The male victim was transported to the hospital to be treated for his injuries The suspect was later located and arrested on above charges and booked into the Adult Detention Center without incident.

Arrested: Richard Garcia 42 yoa male (Albuquerque NM)
Deputy was flagged down by Fire Dept. personnel who had observed a male battering a female in the church parking lot. Deputy arrived on scene and located the suspect and vicitm. Investigation revealed suspect had struck the victim's facial area. Suspect was arrested and taken to the Santa Fe County Detention Center without incident.

Location: Residence on Los Lujan's Road in Santa Cruz N.M.
On 04-02-15 at approximately 8:00PM a 13-year-old female was home alone when a juvenile male knocked on the front door. She opened the door and when she realized it was a male she had problems with in the past she told him to leave and began to close the door. He forced his way into the home and pushed her down on the couch. He began to fondle her in a sexual manner and began kissing her neck. Eventually he fled the residence through the rear door when he observed the girl's father walking up to the front door.

Deceased: 27-year-old male from Edgewood New Mexico
On 04-02-15 at approximately 7:30PM the victim's family contacted the Sheriff's Office to report him missing. They stated they found a suicide letter on his lap top. A short time later his vehicle was located by deputies in a field near Horton Lane and Cowboy Lane. He was found outside the vehicle deceased from a self inflicted gun shot wound.

Arrested: Christopher Romero, 38-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 04-02-15 while conducting a DWI Check Point contact was made with Mr. Romero who was driving a 2006 Land Rover through the check point. He displayed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. he admitted to consuming three beers prior to driving. He was arrested and refused to submit to chemical testing. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Location: Residence on Adobe Creek in northern Santa Fe County
On 04/02/15 someone set fire to the victim's 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser and 2013 Honda Civic. No suspects were observed in the area at the time of the incident. The State Fire Investigator conducted an investigation and determined the fire was set to the Land Cruiser's front passenger seat and eventually spread to the Civic that was parked next to it. The investigation is ongoing.
