On Tuesday, March 25, 2014 between 7:15 AM and 6:00 PM the suspect utilized a spare key to gain unautghorized access to a residence at the location.  Once entry was gained the suspect removed $30.00 in US currency.  The suspect was located at his residence and admitted to the incident.

Charges: Burglary, Larceny

On March 25th 2014 Deputies responded to a residence located at 4650 Airport Road regarding a reported burglary that had occurred. During the course of the investigation Deputies learned that on March 25 2014 between the hours of 1:00 pm and 8:30 pm the victims’ residence was entered and items were removed from the residence. According to the victim the total value of the items taken amounted to $2,999.00. At this time there are no known suspects.

On the above date the above victim reported sometime within the last week, unknown suspect(s) gained entry into his residence. Once inside suspect(s) stole the above items. Suspect is pending further investigation.

Victim reports that she noticed (5) five ATM withdraws from her bank account from out state. Victim was in New Mexico when the unknown suspects unlawfully defrauded her account. Total amount stolen is $900.00. No suspects at time. Case is still under investigation.

Vehicle:  Red, 2006, Dodge, Pick-up

Suspect:  Manuel Gutierrez, 33, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI

On Monday, March 24, 2014 at 5:14 PM multiple 9-1-1 calls were received about the suspect operating the vehicle at the location and being stuck in sand.  The suspect was located and found to be in physical control of the vehicle.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of ,16 or greater.  The vehicle was seized pursuant to Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5.  The vehicle was not involved in a motor vehicle crash.

Deputy reponded to location in reference to an inmate that was found to have taken contraband into the jail. Suspect when questioned admitted to having the contraband. Inmate was rebooked into the jail and charged with the additional crimes.

Victim reported to Deputy that the suspect was exposing himself to her while she was outdoors sunbathing. Suspect was conacted and arrested without incident.

Sometime over the weekend someone entered an unlocked garage on the transfer station property.  They stole 2 fire extinguishers from the garage and discharged them in a shed and truck on the property.

Suspect: Ernesto Morales 32yo Male

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, Possession of Marijuana less than one ounce

On March 24, 2014 Deputes responded to the intersection of Agua Fria and Fairway Village in reference to a motor vehicle accident. While en-route to the location the driver of the single vehicle accident attempted to flee the scene on foot. Upon Deputies arrival the driver was located about one hundred feet away from the vehicle walking away from the crash scene. During the investigation the driver was found to be impaired by an intoxicant. The driver was arrested and subsequently submitted to a breath test which showed he had a breath alcohol concentration equal to or greater than .16/.16. The driver was taken to Santa Fe County adult detention center without incident.

Victim: Weldon Bratcher 32 yo Male, Stanley NM

Charges: Aggravated Battery against a house hold member, Abandonment or abuse of a child, Criminal damage to the property of a household member, negligent use of a firearm

On March 22nd 2014 Deputes responded to a residence on Simmons road in reference to a reported family abuse argument that was occurring. While en-route to the residence Deputes were informed that the suspect had armed herself with a handgun. Upon the arrival of the Deputies the suspect was located standing in front of her residence un-armed. An investigation followed during which time it was found that the suspect was involved in a physical altercation with the victim. During the altercation the suspect struck the victim with an unknown object causing a laceration on his forehead. The suspect also struck the victims 4 year old son in the face causing a minor abrasion. Prior to the arrival of law enforcement the suspect caused damage to the victim’s belongings causing an estimated $1000.00 in damages. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicant at the time of her arrest. The firearm which the suspect had been reported to be armed with was located in the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect was transported to ADC without incident.
