Arrested: Bobby Pacheco - age 36, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies responded to the Cities of Gold Casino at about 10:45pm to investigate allegations of a rape. The victim reported meeting the suspect inside the casino and then going to the parking lot with him. According to the victim, the suspect sexually assaulted her and held her against her will. The suspect later fled the area. Deputies conducted a search and located the suspect walking less than a mile away. The subsequent interviews and investigation concluded there was evidence the suspect sexually assaulted the victim and he was arrested.

Arrested: 17 y/o juvenile
Deputies investigated a report of a 17 year old juvenile providing marijuana to a 12 year old juvenile at the youth shelter. Both juveniles were residents. The 17 year old juvenile was subsequently placed under arrest for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and booked into the juvenile detention center.

Deputy observed Silva-Sotelo smoking and sharing Marijuana in a vehicle that was also occupied by a juvenile. He was arrested and the juvenile was referred to Juvenile Probation.

On Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 8:04 PM the suspect was operating Vehicle #1 north at the location. The victim was operatimg Vehicle #2 north at the location directly in front of Vehicle #1. For reason(s) unknown the suspect passed Vehicle #2 and stopped in front of it. The suspect then exited Vehicle #1 and struck the right side mirror of Vehicle #2 wuth his hand causing it to break. The suspect was found to be under the innfluence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater. The suspect initially provided a ficticious last name. The suspect was unable to produce a driver's license or proof of insurance upon request. A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's licence on file for the suspect.

On 10-11-14 at about 1:00PM the vistim entered the store to pay for gas. While inside the store soemone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her purse from the passenger seat.

On Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 2:31 AM Suspect #1 was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. Suspect #1 was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater. Suspect #1 was also found to be in possession of a loaded, Smith & Wesson, 9MM, Semi-Automatic Pistol. Suspect #2 was the passenger in the vehicle. It was revealed that there was an active Arrest Warrant for her issued by the Santa Fe Municipal Court for Failure to Appear.
Case# 0214016343 Death Investigation

Location: East Hill Ranch Road, Edgewood, NM
Victim: Male, 22, Edgewood, NM
On Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 4:03 AM deputies and EMS Personnel responded to a residence at the location in reference to the victim having sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The victim was found with a 9MM, semi-automatic pistol under his right hand and displaying signs of life. The victim was transported by Santa Fe County Fire Department Medic 70 to the University of New Mexico Hospital where at 5:17 AM he succumbed to his wound and was pronounced dead. A personal relationship and alcohol appear to be factors in this incident. Foul play is not suspected in this incident.
