The above driver was involved in a motor vehicle crash on March 4, 2015, at about 10:28pm. When deputies made contact with her, she exhibited signs of impairment. She was placed under arrest and she submitted to a breath test. The results were .12 and .12. She was booked into ADC accordingly.

Victim reported that on March 4, 2015, she left her vehicle parked and an unknown person forced entry into her vehicle by shattering the window. A purse was stolen from inside, along with about $810.00 in cash. No witnesses or suspects were known at the time of report.

Charges: Abandonment or abuse of a child resulting in great bodily harm
Tuesday, March 03, 2015 Deputies were dispatched to Christus St. Vincent Hospital in regards to a possible child abuse case. After learning of the severity of the injuries to the infant’s brain, Criminal Investigations was notified and took over. During the course of investigation it was learned that the juvenile father was alone with the infant for a period of approximately 1.5 hours. During this time the child began to cry, leading the father to prepare a bottle. Several forceful attempts were made to get the infant to drink the bottle. With frustration mounting the father picked up the infant by his armpits and began shaking him in a back and forth motion for several seconds. After this the infant continued to cry and the father placed his hand over the infant’s mouth for 1-2 minutes until the crying stopped. The father noticed that the infant was a purple color and gasping for air at this time and blew in his face until the infant began to breathe on his own. A family member arrived on scene and contacted 911.

Victim reports unknown person stole and forged a check that was written out for worked performed. The check was written on February 13, 2015 and payment had not been received as of March 1, 2015. It was later discoverd the check had been cashed by an unknown person. Case still pending further investigation.

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Deputies made contact with the victim who advised a verbal altercation ensued with her juvenile son that escalated to a physical altercation. During the course of the altercation, the suspect broke items within the residence, threatened the victim, grabbed the victim by the arm and prevnted her from leaving. JPO (Juvenile Probation Office) approved incarceration for the juvenile suspect and he was charged and booked accordingly.

On Monday, March 2, 2015 at 12:07 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to fraud. Victim advised she had gone on vacation out of state from December 25, 2014 to January 5, 2015. Victim advised she has recently been made aware that an unknown suspect(s) withdrew money from several ATMs in the area of her vacation. All the withdrawals were made after the victim had returned home.
