Deputies responded to an unresponsive 65 year old female and discovered that she had passed away earlier in the morning from what appears natural causes. She had a lengthy medical history. No foul play suspected. Case is under investigation.

Subject was observed by Deputy acting aggressively towards another subject at a bus stop located at the above listed location. Subject fled on foot when Deputy arrived to investigate the situation. Subject was subdued and taken into custody where he was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Subject was arrested and taken to jail where he was booked accordingly

Victim reported to Deputy that on this date between the hours of 12:00p.m. and 1:05 p.m., unknown persons gained forced entry into her vehicle and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation

Bertha Boling was arrested for Battery against a Household Member after deputies responded to a domestic dispute and learned that she had battered a family member causing minor injury. She was booked without incident.

suspect was traffic stopped for a speeding violation. Suspect to be heavily intoxicated and submitted to field sobriety tests. Suspect was arrested and submitted to a breath test which results were .17 .16. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center without further incident.

Arrested: Travis Sjorstrom 35 yoa male (Los Alamos)
Deputy was dispatched to assist Pojoaque Tribal Police who had stopped a motorist for being unable to maintain a lane of travel. Deputy arrived and administered field sobrierty tests. Signs of impairment were noted and subject was arrested. Subject had a breath alcohol content of .16. Subjects vehicle was seized in accordance with county ordinance due to a prior DWI.

On August 22, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of New Mexico State Road 503 in reference to a Tribal Law Enforcement agency that was requesting assistance. Contact was made with the Officer who advised that he conducted a traffic stop on the above driver, upon further inspection the officer discovered the driver had a revoked license with an arrest clause. The driver was confirmed to have a revoked license. The driver was placed under arrest accordingly and transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention.

On Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:16 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and failed to stop for a posted stop sign. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test. Results of that test are pending.
