Stolen: 1949 green in color Studebaker truck and a 1984 brown in color Chevrolet van
Sometime over the course of the last month someone entered the victim's property by cutting a padlock off a gate and stole the above listed vehicles.

Deputies responded to the above location at approximately 8:04 a.m. reference to a unconscious, not breathing 37 year old male. Last time he was seen was on August 1, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. by family. Victim had an extensive medical history that he suffered from. There were no signs of foul play. Cause of death is still pending further investigation.

On Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:28 PM the victim reported the vehicle was stolen between 2:15 PM and 10:15 PM from a residence at the location. The vehicle was left unsecured and the keys were in it. The vehicle was recovered at another crime scene in Galisteo.

Property: Miscellaneous tack, 3 saddles and miscellaneous powere tools (recovered)
On Friday, August 1, 2014 at 9:51 PM deputies responded to a residence at the location in reference to a Burglary in Progress. The victim had arrived home and found the vehicle parked in front of the barn with the property in the bed of the truck. The vehicle was reported stolen from a residence in La Cienega while deputies were at the above location. The victim did not observe any suspects and the area was checked with negative results.

The above wanted male was taken into custody on an active felony warrant for Forgery, Fraud and Identity Theft. Suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Victim called 911 reporting that the suspect had struck them. Upon deputy arrival, the victim did display visible injuries. Deputy was told that suspect did strike at the victim during an argument. The suspect was arrested and taken to jail

The victim stated that he sent the money and then found out that the male was not a family member and was scammed out of his funds. Case is under investigation.
