Suspect: Michael Sanchez Age: 35 Velarde,NM
Victim reported to Deputy that while traveling on US 84/285, he and the suspect were involved in an arguement. Victim stated the suspect kicked the windshield to the victim's car and broke the glass. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to an alarm. Victim reports that two storage sheds had been unlawfully entered by force by breaking the locking mechanism. Entery was gained sometime between the dates of April 30, 2014 through July 2, 2014. At this time it is unknown if anything was taken. Case still pending further investigation.

Deputies responded to location in reference to a suspicious male in the area. Upon Deputy arrival, it was learned that the male may have been involved in the theft of auto parts. Case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to the location in reference to an activated alarm. Upon Deputy arrival, they observed that forced entry had been gained into the home by the suspects. Case is under investigation.

Location: Residence on Santa Fe County Road 84-C, El Rancho N.M.
Arrested: Abelardo Fernandez, 35-year-old male from El Rancho N.M.
On 07-02-14 at about 7:45AM the victim observed a male break into her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway. When the male saw the victim he fled the area on foot. He was located a short time later by Deputies hiding in a grove of trees and was in possession of stolen property from the victim's vehicle. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Location: Residence off Toro Lane, Santa Fe NM
On 07-02-14 at about 7:00AM the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an 80-year-old male found in his residence by family members, not concioous or breathing. He was pronounced deceased on scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator and no signs of foul play were detected. He had several medical issues.

Arrested: Leonardo Pena - age 34, El Rancho
Deputies responded to a 911 hang up and found a domestic dispute had occurred. The victim reported being battered and held against her will. She was transported to the hospital on suspicion of a broken nose. Deputies attempted to arrest the suspect and he resisted. During the arrest, the suspect struck a deputy and attempted to stike another. He was booked into ADC accordingly.

Arrested: Eli Martinez - age 42, Espanola, NM
Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash. The driver was found to be impaired and was placed under arrest. He submitted to a breath test and the results were .11 and .10 BrAC. He was booked into the Adult Detention Center accordingly.
