On November 11, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of 7400 Old Santa Fe Trail in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who advised that between 5:00pm and 6:30pm on November 10, 2014 suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims home, once entry was gained suspect(s) took various electronics and power tools from within the home. Suspect(s) then used one of the stolen credit cards at a local store. This case remains under investigation.

Suspect: Joshua Chavez, 30, Rio Rancho, NM
Charged: DWI (Felony), Careless driving, Driving while license revoked, Negligent use of a deadly weapon, Possession of drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana
On Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 6:47 PM the suspect was opperating the vehicle southbound at the location, when for reason(s) unknown he lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the right side and rolling over multiple times. Suspect was found to be under the influeance of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a breathalyzer test. Based upon the suspects number of prior DWI offenses a search warrant was obtained and a blood test was administered. Results of this test are pending. The suspect's New Mexico driver's license is revoked with the arrest clause attached unless he is opperating a vehicle with an ignition interlock device. The vehicle was not so equiped. The suspect was found to be in possession of a .45 caliber semi automatic pistol, suspected Marijuana, and a smoking device containing suspected Marijuana residue. The suspect was uninjured as a result of this collision. The vehicle was not seized due to extensive rollover damage.

Victim reported between 2:30 p.m. and 5:09 p.m. an unknown person(s) entered the residence by force and stole televisions, camera equipment, and jewlery. Investigation is on-going.

Victim advised on November 10th, 2014 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. someone forced entry into his residence and stole several silver items. Case is under investigation.

Victim stated on November 10, 2014 between 1:00 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. unknown suspects entered their residence and stole jewlery. Investigation is on-going.

Suspect: Ryan Venti, 34, Santa Fe, NM
On Monday, November 10, 2014 at 11:33 PM, victim was awakened by the suspect, who was holding a knife. Victim was in fear of receiving an immediate battery. Victim dialed 9-1-1 and suspect exited the residence. Suspect was located near the residence and was arrested.

On Monday November 10, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputy Ardnt was advised by a victim that his home was burglarized. Deputy Arndt made contact with the victim at his home at which time he was advised that suspects gained unlawful entry into his home and took an electronic. Victim stated the incident occurred between Friday November 7 and Monday November 10, 2014. This case remains under investigation.

Charged: Battery against a household member
On Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 10:29 PM suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location. The altercation turned physical when the suspect struck the victim in the head with a closed fist. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention.

Stolen: 30-40 Whitefur Latillas total estimated value: $700.00
Victim reports sometime between November 6, 2014 and November 8, 2014 unknown persons stole the above items from a private fence at the above location. The fence was located on north eastside boundary of the property. Case still pending further investigation.

On Saturday, November 8, 2014 between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM, an unidentified person entered a residence through the front door and removed miscellaneous electronic items and jewelry from the residence. There were no signs of forced entry.
