On 11/29/13 deputies were dispatched to a reckless driver which was on State Road 285.  Dispatch received numerous calls on the reckless driver and gave vehicle information.  Deputy located the vehicle at the above location and conducted a traffic stop.  Contact was made with suspect who appeared to be impaired.  SFSTs were conducted and suspect could not perform SFSTs.  Suspect was arrested and read the NM Implied Consent.  Suspect agreed to submit to a breath test.  Suspect's BrAC results were .27, 26.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.


Case#:  0213018624/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date:  11/29/13

Location:  business off of La Hacienda Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado)

On 11/29/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Complainant stated that between 11/27/13 at 1000 p.m. and 11/29/13 at 640 p.m. unknown persons removed a screen and broke a window to gain entry into the building.  Once inside unknown persons stole a laptop computer with case and a projector.  Estimated value of items taken is $1,200.00.  Estimated value of damage is $300.00.

Subject: Jesus Garcia Garcia      Age: 31           Espanola,NM

Above person was found to be passed out inside a vehicle in the intersection with Cypress and Ash. Person displayed signs of impairment and was asked to submit to sobriety testing. Subject was not able to perform testing and was arrested. Subject submitted to chemical testing and results displayed .22, .21. Subject taken to jail where he was charged accordingly

Suspect:  Male, 41, Santa Domingo Pueblo, NM

Vehicle:  White, 2001, Ford, 2 door

On Thursday, November 28, 2013 the suspect took the vehicle from a residence at the location without the victim's permission.  The vehicle was recovered when the suspect was arrested by BIA Police in Sandoval County for DWI between the time of theft and 8:45 AM on Friday, November 29, 2013.

Arrested: Jamaine Urioste, 27-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 11-29-13 at about 11:00AM a black in color Toyota Celica was observed driving in a reckless manner on Saint Francis Drive nearly causing a crash.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Mr. Urioste was arrested on the above charges.

Charged:  Driving While License Suspended or Revoked, Speeding, Mandatory Proof

                   of Financial Responsibility

On Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 8:32 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location at 73 miles per hour in a posted 55 mile per hour zone.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect's driver's license is revoked with the Arrest Clause attached unless operating a vehicle equipped with an ignition interlock.  The vehicle was not so equipped.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.

Location: Boylan Circle, Santa Fe, NM  (Agua Fria Area)

Victim reports between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. unknown person(s) gained unlawful entry into a Toyota Camry parked at the above location.  During the course of the investigation a second victim reported their Cadillac Escalade was also burglarized.  Nothing was reported missing from either vehicle.  Case still pending further investigation.

Stolen: Two Radiators, 20-30 Brass Valve Fittings, One Grey Plastic Water Trough

Victim reported that some unknown person gained access to a storage building on his property on the night of 11/26/2013. The unknown person(s) stole above listed items.

The above items stolen were valued at about $260.


0213018504 Resisting, Evading Obstructing an Officer/ Bench Warrant 11/27/2013

Arrested: Johnny Velasquez 39 year old male, Santa Fe NM

The above listed subject was arrested after driver failed to stop as the Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Driver was found to have 2 active bench warrants and DMV showed his driver’s license to be suspended/revoked. Drug paraphernalia located in the vehicle, the driver was charged and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

The above driver was stopped for operating a vehicle with inoperable license plate lamps. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. He submitted to a breath test and the results were .12 and .12. He was booked into ADC accordingly.
