On Tuesday November 04, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of Seirra Vista Road in reference to a reported stolen motor vehicle. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who advised berween 8:30 pm on 11-03-14 and in the morning hours of 11-04-14 suspect(s) took the victims motorcycle from his home. This case remains under investigation.

On Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at approximately 12:29 AM, person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to the vehicle while it was parked at a residence at the location by shattering the right front window. Once entry was gained person(s) unknown removed a backpack containing college material. The victim exited residence and stated person(s) unknown discharged two gunshots in his direction. Victim was not injured as a result of this incident and no residence and/or vehicle were struck.

Victim reported that sometome on October 13, 2014 (3 weeks ago) an unknown person forced entry into their home. Once inside, the victim stated the suspects took several video gaming systems and dvds. Case is under investigation.

On Monday November 03, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of El Gancho Way in reference to a reported stolen trailer. Contact was made with the victim who advised that between 11-02-14 - 11-03-14 suspect(s) took a dump traler with a tamper loaded on the trailer. The scene was processed for evidence. This case remains under investigation.

On Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 9:40 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect almost struck a patrol vehicle from the rear. The suspect was found to be under the influence of a central nervous system depressant and submitted to a Blood Test. Results of that test are pending. The suspect was unable to produce his valid New Mexico Driver's License or proof of insurance upon request. The vehicle registration had expired on August 31, 2014. Due to the number of prior DWI Offenses the vehicle was seized pursuant to Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 as amended.

Victim reported unknown person gained unlawful entry into the residence between 2:00 pm on 11-01-14 and 11-02-14. Once inside the residence suspect(s) took a handgun, ammo, and cash box. Investigation is on-going.

On Sunday, Novemberr 2, 2014 at approximately 2:17 AM, an unknown person discharged an unknown type of firearm. As a result it is suspected that an unknown type of projectile struck the roof of a residence at the location as it fell from the sky. The projectile caused a small hole in the roof. There were no injuries as a result of this incident and no indications that the projectile was fired intentionally at the residence.

On Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 12:04 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location and failed to stop for a posted stop sign. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.

Arrested: 34 Year old Shawn Merl, Moriarty, NM, 87035
On October 30, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to a reported suspicious person near the area of Consuelo Road. Deputy Archuleta arrived on scene and located the individual in a vehicle. A check of the vehicle revealed that the vehicle was stolen. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was taken to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center where he was charged and booked accordingly.
