On Saturday May 31st, 2014 a Santa Fe Sheriff Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing that the driver did not have his seatbelt on. After the traffic stop was conducted it was learned that the drivers driving privileges were revoked. The driver was a placed under arrest without incident. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Detention Center where he was booked accordingly.

On Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 12:43 AM person(s) unknown, utilizing an unknown type weapon, discharged several shots at a residence at the location. No shots struck the residence and nobody was injured as a result of this incident.

Victim reported sometime between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm a German Shepard dog went missing from the residence. Victim advised the dog has never ran away and believes it to be stolen.

Deputies made contact with above listed subject at the Cities of Gold Hotel. Subject was found to have a warrant for his arrest. Search incident to arrest revealed the subject was in possession of cocaine. Suspect was booked without incident.

Victim reported on 5/29/14 sometime between 1:00pm and 11:30pm some unknown suspect(s) broke into her residence through an unlocked bathroom window and stole the above listed items.
The items stolen were valued at about $233.00
0214008102 Death Investigation

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a death investigation. The victim (86 year old female) was found unresponsive and not breathing by a family member. There were no signs of foul play located at the scene, and death appears to be of natural causes.

Vehicle: 1992 Ford Festiva Blue
On May 30, 2014 Deputies responded to Juan Medina and State Road 503 in reference to a reported motor vehicle collision with injuries. Upon arrival the located a single vehicle crash with the vehicle being occupied by April Espinoza. Through the course of the investigation Deputies learned that Espinoza was impaired by an intoxicant. Espinoza was transported to St. Vincent Hospital where she was treated for her injuries and subsequently taken to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center where she was booked accordingly.

On May 29th 2014 Deputies went to the residence of 38 Valle Vista in an attempt to serve Jose Chavez Jr on an active warrant for his arrest. Upon arriving at the location Deputies located Chavez hiding under the mattress in a bedroom. Chavez was arrested and booked accordingly.

Vehicle: 1998 Toyota 4 Door White
On May 29th 2014 Deputies stopped a white in color Toyota passenger vehicle after wit was observed traveling 25 mile per hour in a clearly posted 55 mile per hour speed zone. During the course of their investigation Deputies learned the driver, who was identified as Allan Rivera, was impaired by an intoxicant. Rivera was arrested and subsequently taken to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. An inventory of the vehicle Rivera was operating was conducted during which time Deputies found a bottle of Vodka which had been open and its contents partially removed. Rivera was booked accordingly
