On April 9th 2014 Deputies responded to a residence on Corte Court in reference to a reported criminal sexual contact of a minor. During the course if the investigation Deputies learned a possible criminal sexual contact of a minor occurred when a 16yo male allegedly touched his 7yo step sisters buttocks. Investigations was summoned to the scene and subsequently took over with the investigation.

Victim reported to Deputy that an unknown person had the victim deposit a check mailed to them. Once the check was deposited, the suspect frauded the victim into giving the funds back. This case in under investigation.

Charges: Aggravated driving while under the influence (refusal), Open Container, driving on roadways laned for traffic
On April 9, 2014 Deputies stopped a 2003 black ford ranger on SR599 and Airport Road for failing to maintain its lane of travel. During the course of the investigation it was found that the driver was found to be impaired by an intoxicant. The driver was arrested and transported to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office. While at the Sheriff’s Office a breath test was attempted to be administered however the driver refused to supply an adequate breath sample. An inventory was taken of the vehicle during which time several alcoholic beverage containers were located in the center console. All four of the alcoholic beverage containers were found to have been open and their contents partially removed.

Charges: Unlawful Taking of a motor vehicle, Larceny, Burglary
On April 7th 2014 Deputies responded to the residence of 1905 Case Road in reference to a report of an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. During the course of the investigation it was found that a utility trailer and car dolly were removed from the property between the hours of 745 am and 520 pm by unknown suspect (s). Furthermore Deputies learned that on the utility trailer was located numerous construction industry implements. The victim estimated the value of the items taken to be $31,595.00.

On Monday April 07, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Camino Peralta in reference to a reported burglary. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who advised sometime between 2:00pm and 5:45pm on 04-07-14 unknown suspects gained unauthorized entry into the victims home. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took a handgun and an electronic from the home. This case remains under investigation

Vicim reported to Deputies that on todays date at approximately 1;30 PM a male subject grabbed at her purse in an attempt to steal it. During this time the suspect male was able to get an undisclosed amount of money from within the victim purse and fled the area.
