On May 3, 2014 Deputies responded to a residence on County Road 84A in reference to a welfare check on a suicidal male. Upon arrival to the residence Deputies were able to make entry into the residence through an unlocked back door. Upon entering the residence the male was located in his bedroom with an apparent single gunshot wound. Upon further investigation no signs of foul play were discovered.

Arrested: Darrell Trujillo 41 yoa male, Chimayo, NM
Charges: Driving on a Revoked License, and Careless Driving
Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Driver lost control of his vehicle after he began making adjustments with vehicle's hydraulic suspension system. Vehicle struck a fence, mail box and tree. A drivers license check was conducted on the driver which revealed he had a revoked license. Driver was arrested and booked on the above charges without further incident.

Suspect: Yvonne Montoya, 36, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic
On Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10:02 pm the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. She was observed crossing the center divide line and entering the southbound lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test. Results of that test are pending.

Arrested: Travis Miller, age 30, Santa Fe NM
Deputies were dispatched to the above address in regards to a welfare check of a 9 year old male. Upon investigation, it was learned that the child had visible injuries to his leg from the suspect striking him. Suspect admitted to belting the child because he would not eat his dinner. Suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Victim reported she had forgot her purse at the Sears located at the Santa Fe Place Mall. After realizing she had left the purse, contact was made with the victims bank and it was discovered her credit card was used at the Allsups located at 5166 Agua Fria St. Amount of the charges are pending.

Victim reported she sent a check for $138.50 through the mail to order concert tickets. She later learned from her bank that the same check had been cashed for $3200.00. Investigation is still ongoing. No suspects were known at the time of report.

On April 30th 2014 Deputies responded to a residence located on Arbol Grande in reference to an unattended death. During the course of the investigation it was found that a 79 yo male had a single gunshot wound to the stomach. The male succumbed to the injuries and later pronounced deceased. Criminal Investigations was summoned to the scene to conduct an in-depth investigation. At this time no signs of foul play have been discovered.

Suspect: Levi Brenza 20 yo Male Albuquerque

Vehicle: 205 Mitsubishi Wht/Wht
On April 30th 2014 Deputies responded to the location of Dinkle Road and Abajo in reference to a reported single vehicle rollover. Upon arrival and conducting their investigation Deputies learned that the driver, who was identified as Levi Brenza, was impaired by an intoxicant. Brenza submitted to a breath test which showed his breath alcohol level was equal to or greater than twice the New Mexico per se limit. Brenza was arrested and booked accordingly.
