Arrested: John Curtis, 45-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 12-04-2012 at about 3:00AM Deputies were dispatched to a rersidence on Calle Estevan in reference to a domestic disturbance.  The investigation revealed Mr. Curtis battered a household member and prevented them from calling 911 during an altercation at his residence.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.


0212018679 / Burglary, Larceny / 12-03-2102

Location: Residence on Herrada Way, Eldorado area of Santa Fe  County

Items stolen: $600.00 U.S. currency

On 12-03-2012 between the hours of 9:30AM and 3:30PM an unknown suspect entered the victim's home through a window and stole $600.00 in cash from whithin the home.  There is no suspect information at this time.

Location:  residence off of Don Filomeno, Santa Fe, NM (Chupadero)

On 12/3/12 between the hours of 1315 and 1600 suspects forced entry into the residence  through a door by breaking the glass.  Suspects then forcecd open the master bedroom door by kicking it in.  Victim stated that suspects stole prescribed medication from the bedroom.  Victim also stated that suspects took a wood splitter which was outside the residence.  Estimated value of items taken is $645.68.  Estimated damage amount is $350.00.

Location:  6401 Richards Avenue, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe Community College)

On 12/3/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a larceny.  Reporting party stated unknown persons took a laptop computer from one of the classrooms at the Santa Fe Community College on 11/19/12.  Estimated value of the item taken is $799.00.

Location:  residence off of Calle Rivera, Santa Fe, NM (off of State Rd. 503)

On 12/3/12  deputy was dispatched to the above location in reference to a fraud.  Victim stated that she paid a male subject $3000.00 to remodel her residence.  Victim stated that the subject never showed up to complete the work she hired him to do.  Victim is unable to get a hold of the subject.

Location:  residence off of Sunflower Circle, Santa Fe, NM (off of Camino La Tierra)

On 12/3/12 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 12/2/12 at 1800 hours and 12/3/12 at 0700 hours unknown persons gained entry into 2 of his vehicles through unlocked doors.  Victim stated that unknown persons took about $4.00 in change from inside one of the vehicles.  No damage was done to either vehicle.  Estimated value of items taken is $4.00.

Complainant reports school bus entered by force damaging the door between 12/2 and 12/3/12 and appears nothing taken.  Suspect may have been sleeping inside of vehicle.  Case is under investigation.

                  Open Container, Child Restraint, Driver Must be Licensed, Mandatory

                  Proof of Financial Responsibility

Suspect #2:  Diema Coroy, 32, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Warrant - Failure to Comply With Conditions of Probation

On Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 10:21 PM Suspect #1 was observed urinating on the side of the road at the location next to the vehicle.  Suspect #2, Victims #1 and #2 were passengers in the vehicle.  Suspect #1 was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  Suspect #1 was found to be in possession of two open bottles of beer and was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.  Victim #2 was found not to be in a child restraint.  The vehicle registration should have been displayed on a 1991 Ford, 2 door.  Suspect #1's New Mexico Driver's License is expired.  There was an active Arrest Warrant for Suspect #2, issued by Santa fe Municipal Court for Failure to Comply With Conditions of Probation.  Victims #1 and #2 were released to the custody of another family member.

Stolen: 30 gal. Water heater, Skill Saw, Stihl Chainsaw, DeWalt cordless drill

Victim reported that between 2pm on 12/2/12 and 12am on 12/3/12 unknown suspects gained unauthorized entry into his home and stole the above items. The victim noticed the burglary after going to check on his home that is currently unoccupied.

Victim reports sometime between the hours of 10:00am and 4:45pm unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the above location through an unlocked window.  Once inside suspect(s) knocked over a Christmas Tree breaking some ornaments.  Estimated Value of Damage: $20.00.  Case still pending further investigation.
