On 11/16/12 at 1530 hours, complainant observed a vehicle parked at the above location.  Complainant stated that unknown persons gained entry into the residence by kicking the front door open.  Victim stated that unknown persons took a Playstation 3, a portable Playstation, an Ipod, and 2 cell phones.  Estimated value of items taken is $750.00  Estimated damage amount is $200.00. 


0212017868 / Aggravated DWI, Failure to dim lights / 11-17-12

Arrested: Christopher Cruz, 27-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 11-17-12 at about 1:00AM a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Cruz' 2007 Toyota car after he was observed driving with his high beams on and failed to dim them after being signaled to do so. The traffic stop was conducted onAirport Roadat the Shell Gas Station. Upon contact with Mr. Cruz he displayed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. He was arrested and submitted to a breath test which revealed his breath alcohol concentration was over twice the legal limit. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Failure to Obey Signal, Mandatory and Proof of Financial

On Friday, November 16, 2012 at 9:01 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and failed to stop for a red traffic control signal prior to making a right turn.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test..  The suspect was unable to to produce proof of insurance upon request.

                   and Concealing Identity

On Friday, November 16, 2012 at 8:38 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect provided a ficticious name and date of birth.  When confronted with this information, the suspect provided his correct personal information and it was determined that his New Mexico Driver'd License is revoked with the Arrest Clause attached.  The vehicle was not siezed as this incident occurred within the Santa Fe City Limits.


021201781 / Aggravated DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic / 11-15-12

Location: State Road 503 at SFC Road 113

Arrested: Harold Garcia, 54-year-old male from El Llano N.M.

A traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Garcia's white in color Chevrolet truck after it was observed swerving on State Road 503.  Me. Garcia showed signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests.  He was arrested and submitted to a breath test, which indicated he had a breath alcohol concentration of twice the legal limit. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly. 


Case#:  0212017791/ Burglary, Larceny/ Date:  11/15/12

Location:  residence off of Lil Lous Avenue, Santa Fe, NM (El Rancho)

On 11/15/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 11/13/12 at 1900 hours and 11/14/12 at 1030 hours unknown persons entered the residence through an unlocked window.  Victim stated that unknown persons took a computer tower with keyboard, 3 laptop computers, 2 cameras, 3 porcelain dolls, and a sawzall.  Estimated value of items taken is $2610.00.

Sometime between 11-13-12 at about 9:00pm and 11-14-12 at 6:30am, unknown person(s) shattered the passenger window to the victims Chevy Traverse. Once entry into the vehicle was made the suspect(s) stole a Sony Laptop. No other items appeared to be missing. Suspect information is pending.

Victim reports that sometime between the dates of November 1, 2012 and November 14, 2012 unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the above address.  When victim arrived at the above location the front door was found to be unlocked and the above items were taken.  Case still pending further.

On 11/14/12 between 0900 and 1730 hours, unidentified suspects forced the front door open causing damage.  Victim stated that the unidentified suspects then stole a 50" flatscreen TV and a 19" flatscreen TV.  Victim stated that suspects ransacked the residence.  Estimated value of items taken is $1500.00.  Estimated damage amount is $150.00.

Sometime between 11-12-12 at 9:30pm and 11-13-13 at 7:30am, unknown person(s) removed the above items from a chrome tool box on a Nissan truck. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of the victims residence. Suspect information is pending at this time.
