Location: SR 344/ approximately Mile Post 16- Westbound. San Pedro, NM (Edgewood Area)
On Sunday Septemper 9, 2012 the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office received a call for service at the above stated location in regards to a single motorcycle crash. The investigation revealed the victim was travelling westbound on State Road 344 near MP 16 when she lost control of her motorcycle. The victim struck a guard rail, lost control, and subsequently laid the motorcycle down. Initial injuries reported at the scene were that the victim was conscious, breathing, speaking, but suffered a broken collar bone, broken ankle, and had unknown internal injuries. Care Flight was requested to the scene to transport the victim but prior to transport, the victim went into cardiac arrest in the ambulance and was taken directly to Kaseman Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. The victim expired prior to arrival to the hospital from injuries sustained from the crash.
At this time the name of the victim is being withheld as the investigation continues in regards to this incident.

On 09-09-12 Deputy Romero was dispatched to the SF County Adult Detention Facility in regards to an inmate being found in possession of narcotics. During the investigation it was learned the above individual possessed several unknown white pills, suboxone, and a baggy containig a green leafy substance. The above individual was charged accordingly.

On 09-08-12 the above individual was placed under arrest after Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at the above location. During the investigation it was learned the above individual broke the glass on the master bedroom door and began arguing with a family member. During the argument the above listed individual battered the family member, causing minor injuries. The above individual was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

On Sasturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:03 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location when he failed to yield the right of way prior to entering the roadway. As a result the vehicle was involved in a crash with two other vehicles. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater. Both the suspect's vehicle insurance and registration were expired. There were no injurieas as a result of the motor vehicle crash.

On above date deputies were dispatched to above address in reference to a missing person. The reporting party wanted to report that her son Matthew Norgroue had left the residence on 9/4/12 and has not been heard from since.

Victim reports she gave her boyfriend $40.00 to get groceries for her. Victim indicates her ATM Mastercard was also taken without her consent where $600.00 was charged on it. Victim said she never got her groceries. Case still pending investigation.

Victim reported that on 09-07-2012 he and his wife packed their vehicle during the evening hours and when they woke up this morning (09-08-2012) at or around the time of 5:50am they observed the above items missing from within the vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle. This case is currently under investigation.

On Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:21 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location and failed to stop for a posted stop sign. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater. A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is suspended.

On Thusday, September 6, 2012 at 10:30 PM the suspect was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle, suspected marijuana, suboxone, welbutrin and baclofen tablets. The items were found on the suspect's person during a search after a Detention Officer detected what was believed to be the odor of burning marijuana in a Housing Unit at the location.
