On this date sometime between 9:45am and 11:20am some unknown person unlawfully entered the victims residence through an unlocked window and stole the above listed items. The suspect was seen leaving the driveway in a silver ford pickup truck.

Suspect: Ramon Salcido-Melendrez Age: 37 Rio Rancho,NM
Suspect was observed by jail staff attempting to conceal drug paraphernalia and controlled substance on his person while being told to return to his cell. Jail staff approached the inmate and recovered the articles. Suspect was rebooked into the jail with the additional charges.

Victim reports home was entered by force through front door sometime between 5/24/13 and 5/27/13 and a 75" flatscreen tv, laptop, moto-cross clothing and jewelry reported missing. Case is under investigation.

Victim: Male, 73, Edgewood, NM
On Monday, May 27, 2013 at 3:22 AM deputies and EMS responded to a residence at the location in reference to a report of an unresponsive male. The victim was found unreposnive by his wife in bed. The victim had a significant medical history and had recently undergone a surgical procedure. Upon the arrival of EMS the victim was found to have no signs of life. The Office of the Medical Investigator arrived at the location and pronounced the victime dead. Foul play is not suspected in this incident.

On May 26, 2013, at about 10:44am, the victim saw a male suspect breaking-in to her second home. Law enforcement responded and suspect had already fled the area. A safe and US Currency were missing from inside the residence. An investigation is still ongoing.

Sometime on the night of 5/24/13, someone entered the victim's residence through an unlocked door and stole three credit cards and a television from inside. The victim was asleep in the residence at the time and realized the burglary when he woke up. No suspects or witnesses were known at the time of report.

Arrested: Serrano Clara, 53-year-old female from Albuquerque N.M.
On 05-26-13 at about 1:00AM Deputies conducted a welfare check on a vehicle (1996 Toyota car) parked on the shoulder of the roadway at the above stated location. Upon contacting the driver identified as the above defendant she displayed signs of intoxication. A DWI investigation was conducted and she was found to be intoxicated. She refused to submitt to a breath test and was arrested for Aggravated DWI.

On 05-26-13 at about 3:30AM the Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the above location in reference to a reported criminal sexual penetration of a minor. The case is still under investigation.

Arrested: Steven Babcock, 29-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 05-26-13 at about 1:00AM Mr. Babcock was involved in an altercation with a family member at the above listed location. During the altercation Mr. Babcock battered the family member. Deputies were called to the location and conducted an investigation. Mr. Babcock was subsequently arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail on the above charge. .

Victim: Male, 29, Pojoaque, NM
On Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 2:21 AM deputies responded to a residence at the location in response to a report of an un-responsive male. The victim was found with no signs of life. Emergency Medical Services administered Advance Life Support measures with negative results. The victim was subseqquently pronounced dead at the scene. Foul play is not suspected in this incident.
