Subject: Ruben Omar Molina Trujillo    Age: 26      Santa Fe,NM

Subject was observed by Deputy traveling east on Agua Fria not wearing his seatbelt. A traffic stop was initiated and driver was contacted. During the contact, Deputy observed drug paraphernalia in plain view and arrested subject. Subject was then found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Subject was taken to jail where he was booked accordingly.

Location: Santa Fe County Road 119 North, Santa Fe, NM, 87506

Stolen: Firearms

Victim stated between May 29, 2013 at 10:30am  and 1:30pm suspects gained unauthorized entry into the victims home. Once inside suspects took the listed items. This case remains under investigation. 


Case # 0213007710 - Burglary - 5/29/13

Location: Dry Creek Road - Jacona

Victim reports that she parked her car at the above location on 5/29/13 and when she returned, her GPS and clothing bag were missing from inside. Damage was done to her vehicle window. A witness was able to provide a description of a possible suspect.

 


Case # 0213007718 - Burglary - 5/29/13

Location: Los Lunas Rd - Santa Cruz

Victim reports that sometime between 9:20am and 11:04am, on May 29, 2013, someone entered his residence through an unlocked window and stole electronics and jewelry from inside. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.


Case # 0213007652 - Larceny - 5/28/13

Location: Cooks Lane - Santa Fe City

Arrested: Mariano Romero - age 20 - Santa Fe, NM

Aluminum truck rims and vehicle batteries were stolen from the victim's property sometime between 5/24/13 and 5/27/13. A vehicle was seen on the victim's surveillance system and on 5/28/13, the victim saw the same vehicle at a scrap yard. Law enforcement responded and the above suspect was arrested after an investigation into the matter.

Location: Us Highway 84/285 north bound at mile marker 172

Arrested: Mark Lalaonde, 48-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

on 05-28-13 at about 10:25PM a welfare check was conducted on Mr. Lalaonde's vehicle after it was observed parked on the shoulder of the highway.  Upon contacting Mr. Lalaonde he displayed signs of intoxication.  A DWI investigation was conducted and he was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested and submitted to a breath test.  Test results showed his breath alcohol concentration to be over the legal limit.  He was booked accordingly. 


0213007700 / Aggravated DWI, Reckless driving, Immediate notice of accident, Open container / 05-29-2013

Location: Interstate 25 mile post 295 north bound

Arrested: Timothy Montoya, 41-year-old male from Pecos N.M.

On 05-29-2013 at about 1:40AM Santa Fe Regional Emergency Communications Center received several reports of a single vehicle crash on I-25 north bound at mile post 295 involving a silver Dodge truck.  Several people reported a Dodge truck crashed into the guardrail then left the scene of the crash traveling south bound in the north bound lanes of I-25 driving without a left front tire.  The Sheriff's Office located the vehicle heading south bound in the north bound lanes of I-25 near mile marker 285.  A traffic stop was conducted on the Dodge truck and the driver, Mr. Montoya showed signs of impairment and a DWI investigation was conducted.  Mr. Montoya was found to be intoxicated and an open beer was located inside his truck.  He was arrested and submitted to a breath test, which showed his breath alcohol concentration to be more then twice the legal limit.  He was booked on the above charges.

Location: State Road 76, mile marker 2, Espanola New Mexico

Arrested: Gregory Maestas, 18-year-old male from, Santa Cruz N.M.

On 05-28-2013 at about 7:30PM a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Maestas after he was observed not wearing his seatbelt.  Upon contact he displayed signs of intoxication.  A DWI investigation was condcuted and he was placed under arrest.  He submitted to a breath test, which showed his breath alcohol content to be over the legal limit. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail on the above charges. 


0213007699 / Driving while license suspended or revoked. Concealing identity, stop sign violation / 05-29-2013

Location: Riverside Drive and Gunnison Road

Arrested: Rene Quintana, 27-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 05-29-2013 at about 1:15AM a traffic stop was conducted on Ms. Quintana's vehicle after it was observed running a stop sign at the above stated intersection.  Ms. Quintana concealed her identity but her true information was eventually discovered.  A driver's license inquary revealed she was driving on a revoked driver's license.  She was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Location:  200 block of Los Pinos Road, Santa Fe, NM (La Cienega)

On 5/ 28/13 between the hours of 8:30 a.m and 4:45 p.m. victim stated unknown suspect(s)had forcefully pried open a window to his residence.  Victim stated that unknown suspect(s)    damaged the window and the window pane.  No items were discovered missing from inside the residence.  Estimated damage amount is $200.00.
