On this date Deputies responded to the above location. The above listed suspect was placed under arrest for the above listed charge and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: 36" Vizio TV, 32" Dynex TV, Vintage & antique jewelry, and a .22 snub nose revolver 

Victim reported on today's date between the hours of 8:40am and 5:30pm, unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim’s house and took the above items. There were signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

The above listed item was valued at about $8,550.00

victim reported that on 6/6/12 the suspect, a Mattress Firm delivery man, arrived at his residence to deliver a mattress. The victim stated while he was holding his dog from barking/bothering the delivery guys, the suspect entered a bedroom in his home to set up the mattress. The victim explained that on 6/11/12 he noticed that approximately $1500 dollars was missing from a box he kept underneath the

Victim reported that on this date an unknown suspect(s) threw a rock through a window located at the south west side of the AutoZone. The audible alarm immediately was activated following the glass break. It appears that the suspect(s) was scared off by the alarm, so no entry was made by the suspect(s). The suspect(s) caused $1,000.00 in damage to the 5'x 12' glass window.

Victim #1:  Female, 37, Santa Fe, NM

Victim #2:  Female, 3, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Alfred Romero , 62, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated Battery Against a Household Member, Abandonment or Abuse of

                  a  Child, Arrest Order - Violation of Conditions of Probation

On Friday, June 15, 2012 at 2:47 AM the Suspect and Victim #1 were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the Suspect threw Victim #1 to the floor and then grabbed her by the throat.  The Suspect fled the scene and was located a short time later near the residence.  Victim #1 was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.  Victim #2 was present at the location when this incident took place.  Contact was made with the New Mexico Department of Corrections (Probation and Parole) and an Arrest Order was issued for Violation of Conditions of Probation.

Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility

Arrested: Veronica Salas-Paredes, 26-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 06-14-2012 Mrs. Salas-Paredes was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail after failing a drug test at the Electronic Monitoring Program.  During the intake process at the Jail she was found to have a bag of Methamphetamine concealed in her waist band.  She was booked on the above charges.

Location: Residence on Rivera Circle, off Agua Fria Road

Stolen: Camera equipment, jewelry, bb gun, 9mm ammunition and money.  Total value of approximately $1,847.00

    On 06-14-2012 between the hours of 11:45AM and 8:30PM someone entered the victim's residence by breaking a bedroom window.  The above listed items were stolen from within the home.  The case is under investigation.

On today's date Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the above location in regards to the above stated offenses. Between June 4, 2012 and June 12, 2012 unknown person(s) gained unauthorized entry into a residence by force. The residence is checked weekly  as its for sale. This case is currently under investigation.

Stolen: Gray/Black purse/black wallet/Credit Cards, Black Iphone, eye glasses, 400.00 cash/Mac Air Computer/two prescribed medications.

On the above date between 10:00 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. unknown suspect(s) busted the rear hatch window to a 2011 Ford Escape Suv. Once inside, the suspect(s) removed the above listed items and fled the area. Suspects are pending further investigation.

The above items stolen were valued at about $2,495.00

Against a Household Member w/Deadly Weapon, Criminal Damage to Property,

Abandonment or Abuse of a Child, Aggravated Stalking and Aggravated Fleeing.
