Deputies responded to assist the Fire Dept. with an unconcious elderly male. Upon arrival, Fire Personnel were unable to revive an 84 year old man who had an extensive medical history. No foul play suspected.

0212019184 Abandonment or Abuse of a child, Aggravated DWI 12-12-12

Arrested: Miguel Duran age 39 of Los Alamos NM
Deputies were responding to a possible burglary in progress at the El Parasol Restaurant in Pojoaque NM. A silver 2010 Chevy Tahoe was observed driving in the parking lot. Contact was made with the driver who displayed signs of impairment. He admitted to consuming two beer and was found with open containers in his vehicle. Driver submitted to the standardized field sobriety tests and again showed signs of impairment. He refused to submit to a breath at which time he was placed under arrest for Aggravated DWI. During the course of the investigation it was revealed that the driver had his 16 year old son inside the vehicle at the time of the stop. Suspect was arrested and charged with above charges, and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: 32” Samsung flatscreen tv, Misc. silver jewelry, 1- blue/black back pack
Victim reported that sometime between 2:00pm and 8:20pm on December 12, 2012 unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim’s residence through an unlocked back door window and took the above items. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Victim reported to Deputies that an unknown male was loud,screaming and banging on her door. Victim fearful of the male as he was demanding to be let into her home. Deputies located the male who was intoxicated and screaming while other neighbors were nearby. subject was arrested and taken to jail.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Susbtance to wit: Subutext
On 12-12-12 at approximately 1033-hours/ 10: 33am, Dep. R. Lunneborg was dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility in regards to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. During a search of the inmate a single white pill was found in the inmates uniform pocket. The pill will be submitted to the crime lab for analysis. The suspect was booked accordingly for the possession.

Arrested: Marcus Valencia 20 year old male,Santa Fe NM
On this date victim & suspect got into a verbal argument while at home. Victim attempted to telephone 911. Suspect then threatened the victim with a knife and broke victims phone before 911 could be called. Suspect was arrested and was booked into the adult detention center on the above charges.
