Victim reported unknown suspect(s) went onto her property and into her horse trailer, stealing two aluminum show boxes. Case is under investigation.
Case #2025001991 / Aggravated Battery on a Household member/ Child Abuse/ 4-6-25

Suspect- David Johnson (34 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputies were dispatched to an apartment complex on Rancho Siringo to assist the SFPD with an investigation, in which a portion of the crime occurred outside the city limits. Deputies contacted the victim and learned that her ex-boyfriend, David Johnson, had come to her apartment and an argument ensued. During the argument, the victim was battered and her vehicle was damaged by Johnson. A short time later, the victim was driving with her three children on Old Las Vegas Hwy, and she observed Johnson following her. Johnson then intentionally crashed his vehicle into hers, before fleeing the area. Deputies are in the process of obtaining an arrest warrant for David Johnson.

Arrested- Jaya Shweder (29 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Arrested- Jose Gallegos (44 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Location- Avenida De Las Campanas (Santa Fe)
Deputies observed suspicious subjects near the wall of a residence. They were contacted and identified as Jaya Shweder and Jose Gallegos. Jaya was found to have an outstanding warrant, and Jose was found to have three outstanding warrants. They were arrested on the warrants. During the search of Jaya, narcotics were located. They were both transpored to ADC and booked.

Arrested- Jerome Jaramillo (32 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Location- Cerrillos Rd (Santa Fe)
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for an infraction. Deputies contacted the driver and he was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested on the warrant and booked at ADC.
Case #2025001983 / Unattended Death / 4/5/25

Location- Ellis Ranch Rd
Deceased- 73 year old male/ Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to an unattended death. Medical personnel were already on scene and had ceased life-saving measures. Upon speaking with the wife of the decedent, deputies learned of a lengthly medical history. No signs of foul play were observed, and OMI was called to the scene.

David was contacted by deputies, who recognised him from previous contacts, and was run for warrants. He was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. David was later booked at ADC.

Deputies were flagged down by a female and contacted two individuals. During the contact, a male subject was found to have two outstanding warrants. He was arrested on the warrants and booked at ADC.
