On 2/7/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between the hours of 1530 and 1615 hours unknown persons entered his residence through a sliding glass door which was secured. Victim stated that when his roommate returned home he found the sliding glass door unsecured. Victim stated that his laptop computer was noticed missing. Estimated value of the computer is $1500.00. There was no damage to the residence.

Victim reports sometime between the dates of 02-4-2012 at 11:00pm and 02-6-2012 at 8:00pm unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry through a rear sliding glass door that didn't not lock properly. Once inside the above items were stolen. Case still pending investigation.

Location: US 84/285 & SR 106, Espanola, NM
Suspect: Fabian Valdez, age 32, Alcalde, NM
Charged: Driving while license is revoked, Expired registration
On 2/6/12 vehicle was traveling northbound on US84/285. Deputy could not see the registration tag and ran the plate through dispatch. RECC advised that the registration tag had expired 1/2012. A traffic stop was conducted and upon speaking with the suspect, he advised that his license was revoked. RECC ran the suspect through DMV and confirmed that the license was revoked with the arrest clause. Driver was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. The vehicle was seized as per the county ordinance.

On 2/6/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a stolen trailer. Complainant stated that sometime between 2/4/12 at 1200 and 2/6/12 at 0800 a 16ft utility trailer was taken. Estimated value of the trailer is $3000.00. Complainant stated that suspects cut the chain lock to the fence and took the trailer. Estimated value of the locks is $150.00.

Arrested: Martin Sweeney, 56-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 02-05-2012 at about 11:56p.m. Mr. Sweeney's vehicle, a 2010 gray in color Chevrolet SUV was observed making an improper left turn onto Carson Valley Way from Southbound State Road 14. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, Mr. Sweeney who after performing field sobriety tests was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On 02-05-2012 at about 10:00p.m. a 17-year-old male and his mother were involved in a verbal argument. The 17-year-old male told his mother he was going to stabb her. He got a butter knife from the kitchen and sat down on the livingroom couch. He then left the scene prior to Deputies arrival. He was not located at the time of the investigation.
