On the above date at the above location between the hours of 0715 hours on 08-26-2011 to 1400 hours on 08-27-2011 some unknown person(s) gained forced entry into the above residence through the back door.  The above items were taken from within the residence.  Case still under investigation.


Case#: 0211012826/ Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/ Date: 08-26-11

Stolen: White and Blue 18 inch bumper pull Shadow Cruiser Camper, and White/Blue and Gold Pop-up Camper  Approximate value $34,804.00

On the above date and location Deputies responded to the above location in reference to an Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle.  Owner of the Traveltown RV Sales stated between 08-17-2011 and 08-26-2011 unknown person(s) cut the fence to the property that runs parallel to I-25 and stole the above two camper trailers.  Case still under investigation.

Location: residence off Quiet Valley Loop, Edgewood N.M.

Victim: 52-year-old male froom Edgewood New Mexico

On 08/28/2011 at approximately 4:30am the Sheriff's Office was called to a residence off Quiet Valley Loop in reference to a 52-year-old male who was possibly deceased.  Medics were called to the scene and confirmed the male had passed away.  The male suffered from severe medical conditions and no signs of foul play were found.

On August 28, 2011 between the hours of 1100 hours and 1330 hours unknown person(s) took off the screen of the bedroom window to the above location.  Window was partially left open where suspect(s) were able to gain entry into the residence.  The above items were taken from within the residence.  Case still under investigation. 


Case#: 0211012707/ Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, No Driver’s License, Open Container/ Date: 08-26-2011

Suspect: Miguel Rodriguez 39 yoa male Velarde NM

Charges: Aggravated DWI, No Driver's License, and Open Container

On August 26, 2011 the above individual was driving a 1995 Oldsmobile Blue in color and was observed swerving in and out of his lane on State Road 599 in Santa Fe County.  Driver was found not have a driver's license, an open container of alcoholic beverage in the center console and to be intoxicated with a BrAc of .26/ .26.  Driver was booked at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center on the above charges.   


CASE 0211012795 / BURGLARY, LARCENY AND CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY / 08-27-2011

LOCATION:  3900 BLOCK OF SAN FELIPE ROAD, SANTA FE AREA

ITEMS DAMAGED OR STOLEN:  BROKEN WINDOW, STAINED VEHICLE SEAT AND A PAIR OF GLOVES, VALUED AT $400.00

ON THIS DATE BETWEEN 1800 HOURS  AND 2300 HOURS, AT THE ABOVE LISTED LOCATION VICTIM CALLED TO REPORT THE FOLLOWING:  UNKNOWN PERSON (S) ENTERED UNLOCKED VEHCILE AND REMOVED A PAIR OF GLOVES, THEN BROKE A WINDOW  AND THE HEADLIGHTS OF A FRONT END LOADER.  SUSPECTS THEN POURED BLUE PORTABLE TOILET CLEANING SOLUTION ALL OVER THE LOADER.  SUSPECTS WERE NOT LOCATED AT THIS TIME.  CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION. 


CASE 0211012797 \ POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (COCAINE), POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA \ 08-28-2011

LOCATION:  SR 76, SANTA CRUZ POST OFFICE, ESPANOLA AREA

ARRESTED:  ERIC MARTINEZ, 41 YOA, CHIMAYO AREA

CHARGES:  POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (COCAINE), POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED IN A VEHICLE THROUGH A GREEN LIGHT.  DEPUTY MADE CONTACT WITH SUSPECT TO SEE WHY HE WAS JUST PARKED IN THE ROADWAY.  INVESTIGATION FOUND THAT THE SUSPECT HAD DRUG PARAPHERNALIA  AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF COCAINE.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED.  VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.


02110012686, Auto Burglary, 8/26/11

Location: State Road 475  Hyde Park Chamisa trl.

Suspect: Pending

Deputy was dispatched to a located purse.  Upon receiving the purse and further investigation it was learned that an auto burglary had occured on 8/25/11 at the Chamisa trail in Hyde Park.  Victim was contacted and items reported stolen were the purse and a Mac Pro-book lap-top which was entered into NCIC.  Case is under investigation.

 


0211012672 Breaking and Entering

Location: 3508 Charley Bentley (Agua area)

Victim reported that on this date he awoke to find that his brother had unlawfully entered his residence through an open window after removing the window screen. The suspect was asleep on the sofa and an argument ensued after he was awoken. The suspect then fled the area.


0211012611, Burglary, Larceny, 8/25/11

Location: 12 Vista Del Monte  Turquoise Trail

Suspect: Angel Grandara-Gonzales   Age: 23  Santa Fe

Deputies responded to a report of Commercial Burglary for the second time in one week where multiple tools and  an industrial type foam sprayer were taken.  Crime scene investigation led to Angel Grandara-Gonzales as the suspect.  He was located and the sprayer along with a majority of the tools were recovered. Grandara-Gonzales was arrested and booked for multiple counts including burglary and larceny.
