Suspect: 17 yoa female, Santa Fe, NM

Charge: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Deputies were dispatched to the above location for a 911 hang-up.  Through further investigation it was discovered twin 17 yoa female sisters were involved in an verbal altercation.  The above female armed herself with a butcher knife threatening to kill her sister.  JPO authorized incarceration. The above female was placed under arrest for the above charge and booked accordingly at JDC without incident.

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Reckless Driving, Driver Must be Licensed

On Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 3:58 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle southbound at the location in the northbound lanes of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed no Driver's License on file.

                   Drug Paraphernalia

On Thursday, November 11, 2011 at 11:20 PM, the suspect was operating the vehicle west bound at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's license on file.  A smoking device was located in the vehicle containing suspected marijuana residue.

On Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 1:29 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location.  The suspect was observed by an unknown caller failing to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater.

Stolen: 20 Sections of Scaffolding and 2 tile saws Estimated Value: $4100.00

Suspect: Pending

At the above location victim reports sometime between todays date and three weeks ago the above items were missing.   Victim indicated he left the items unsecured outside next a storage/work shed.  Case still pending investigation.


Case#0211016770 / Battery against a household member, False imprisonment / 11-12-2011

Location: Residence on Los Pinos Road

Arrested: Jim Mora, 48-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

    On 11-12-2011 at about 3:00am Deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a residence on Los Pinos Road.  Upon contacting the victim she stated her boyfriend, Jim Mora battered her and prevented her from leaving her residence durring an altercation a couple of hours earlier.  She had visible signs of injury.  Mr. Mora was located a short time later at his residence and arrested on the above listed charges.

Location: Airport Road at Paseo Del Sol west, Santa Fe N.M.

Arrested: Mike Vigil, 32-year-old male from santa Fe N.M.

    On 11-11-2011 at about 10:51pm Mr. Vigil was observed driving in a careless manner on Airport Road in his vehicle.  A traffic stop was conducted and Mr. Vigil was found to be driving on a revoked driver's license.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail on the above listed charges.

Arrested: Eddie Lovato, 56-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 11-10-2011 at approximately 9:30pm a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Lovato's vehicle after it was observed weaving in and out of it's lane.  Contact was made with Mr. Lovato who was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.  He was arrested and booked accordingly. 


CASE 0211016767 / AGGRAVATED DWI, RESISTING AN OFFICER, CARELESS DRIVING, OPEN CONTAINER / 11-11-2011

ARRESTED:  CHRISTOPHER ROBERT SANCHEZ, 29 YOA MALE SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  AGGRAVATED DWI, RESISTING AN OFFICER, CARELESS DRIVING, OPEN CONTAINER

DEPUTY WAS SENT TO THE ABOVE LISTED AREA DUE TO A DRUNK BUSTER TIP ABOUT THE ABOVE LISTED SUSPECT NOT BEING ABLE TO DRIVE SAFELY (CARELESS DRIVING).  DEPUTY LOCATED VEHICLE AND STOPPED IT AND DRIVER WAS FOUND TO BE DRINKING, IN POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED AND AFTER BREATH TESTING AT THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE (.24 BrAC) SUSPECT THEN STARTED RESISTING OFFICERS DUE TO THE FACT THAT HE DID NOT WANT TO GO TO JAIL.  SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTOION CENTER AND BOOKED.  VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.
