On 1-17-2011 at 1:18 AM there was an activated alarm at the location. Upon arrival at the location it was determined that an unknown suspect had gained entry to two bussinesses by forcing open the front doors. Once entry was gained nothing appearred to have been taken even though some drawers had been gone through.

On 1-16-2011 at 11:02 PM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location. The altercation turned physical when the suspect struck the victim several times in the facial area with a closed fist. The victim declined medical attention for her injuries. The suspect was attempting to leave the location in the vehicle upon the arrival of deputies. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.

ON THIS DATE VICTIM CALLED TO REPORT THAT SOMEONE HAD BROKEN INTO HER VEHICLE, WHICH WAS PARKED AT THE DALE TRAIL PARKING LOT AND REMOVED HER PURSE. VICTIM REPORTED THAT HER COSMETICS AND WALLET CONTAINING FIVE CREDIT CARDS WERE INSIDE OF HER PURSE. SUSPECTS HAD BROKEN OUT HER REAR PASSENGER WINDOW TO GET INTO VEHICLE. CASE IS PENDING AND UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME.

ONTHIS DATE SOME UNKNOWN PERSON (S) THREW OUT A LIT CIGARETTE, WHICH CASED A FIRE IN THE GRASS NEXT TO FENCE. tHE FENCE THEN CAUGHT ON FIRE. CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME.

On this date, a neighbor called in to report that the house next door to him had an open door. Investigation found where two males and two females entered the house by breaking in the back door. They damaged the walls of the residence also and the estimated damage is about $2,000.00. The reporting party observed the four suspects the day before at the house, but did not see the open door until today. The house is currently under forclosure at this time. Case is still under investigation at this time.

On 1/15/11 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 1/12/11 at 0800 hours and 1/15/11 at 1600 hours someone unlawfully entered her residence and stole a laptop computer, a cell phone, misc. jewelry and a 9mm handgun from within. Estimated value of items taken is $7850.00. Victim stated that she believes the unknown person had gained entry through the back door due to her finding it open. There was no damage.

Location: residence off of Wild Dog Road, Santa Fe, NM (off of SR 14 near Madrid)
On 1/15/11 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival it was determined that sometime between 0800 hours on 1/12/11 and today unknown persons broke a sliding glass door and gained entry into the residence. Victim stated that approximately $20,000.00 worth of misc. power tools were taken from inside the residence. Estimated damage amount is $1000.00.

On 1/14/11 deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that unknown persons entered her residence through an unlocked door between the hours of 1200 and 1600. Victim stated that unknown persons had taken various countries currency from inside the residence. Estimated value of items taken is $400.00.

Charged: DWI, Careless Driving, Provisional Youth License
On 1-16-2011 at 4:15 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location when he lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the left side, strike a dirt embankment and roll 1 1/2 times. The suspect sustained minor injuries and was transported to Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical Center for treatment. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test. Results of this test are pending. The susspect was found to possess a Youth Provisional Driver's License and should not have been operating a motor vehicle at the time of day that the crash happened.

On 1-16-2011 at 1:50 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater. The suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is suspended and he was unable to provide proof of insurance upon request.
