Stolen: One Sony CD Stereo.

Victim reported that between July 14th, 2011 at approximately 5:30 pm and 6:00 am on July 15th 2011 someone unlawfully gained entry to a green in color 1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet. Once inside suspect(s) removed the above stated items. Suspects are pending further investigation.

The above items stolen were valued at about $100.00

Location: 28736 Highway 285 Eldorado transfer station

Person Arrested: Robert Mondragon

Deputies were dispatched to the above stated location in reference to a suspicious male. The location was the scene of arson of a pick up truck that was investigated the night before by the Santa Fe Sheriffs Office. The male was located with burns on his back as well as burned hair. He was booked and charged for Arson, Concealing Identity and carrying a concealed weapon.

Location:  residence off of Raven's Ridge Road, Santa Fe, NM (off of Old Santa Fe Trail)

Vehicle:  2011 Honda CRZ hybrid white in color bearing NM 648RAK

On 7-16-11, deputy was dispatched to the above address. Upon meeting with the victim, he advised me that he had parked his vehicle at 0830 this morning in his driveway, locked the vehicle and set the alarm on the vehicle. At eleven he went to walk his dogs and returned just before one this afternoon and his vehicle was missing from the driveway. Subject still had the keys to the vehicle on his person at the time of this report. Vehicle is a 2011 Honda CRZ hybrid white in color bearing NM 648RAK.  Estimated value of vehicle is $20,000.

The vehicle was entered into NCIC.

Location:  2200 block of Ranchitos De Baca, Santa Fe, NM (off of Agua Fria)

Vehicle:  2007 Chevy Cobalt white in color bearing NM JST581

On 7/15/11 deputy was dispatched to above location.  Upon arrival, victim stated that her friend called her today and asked to borrow her vehicle.  Victim stated that she agreed to lend the vehicle to the friend but he did not return it back and could not make contact with him.  The vehicle is a 2007 white in color Chevy Cobalt bearing NM JST581.  Vehicle was entered into NCIC.  Estimated value of the vehicle is $12,000.00.


Case#:  0211010196/ DWI(Felony), Careless Driving, Open Container/ Date:  07/15/11

Location:  Richard's Avenue and Oshara, Santa Fe, NM (off of Richard's Avenue)

Suspect:  Stephen Todd, age 56, Albuquerque, NM

Charged:  DWi (felony), Careless Driving, Open Container

On 7/16/11 at approximately 347 hours suspect was involved in a single motor vehicle crash at Richard's Avenue and Oshara.  Contact was made with suspect who had an odor of an intoxicant emitting from his breath.  Suspect was unable to complete SFST's due to falling down.  Suspect was placed under arrest in which he consented for a blood draw.  Blood results are pending.  Suspect was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  An open bottle of Vodka was found inside the vehicle.

Location: 28000 US HWY 285 (El Dorado area)

Suspect: Pending

Deputies responded to a vehicle fire at the above location.  Upon arrival Deputies discovered a burned Chevy truck located a distance away from the highway and was hidden.  Fire personnel had extinguished the fire, and the truck was towed from the location.  The owner of the truck had not been located at that time.  Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Arturo Alvarez            Age: 27          Santa Fe,NM

Victim stated that she and the suspect had been involved in a physical dispute. Victim said that suspect grabbed her by the hair, choked her and punched her in the face. Suspect was located and was arrested without incident.

Items stolen/recovered: 46" Sony television and a Dell lap top computer valued at $2,500.00

Items damaged: Front entry door valued at $600.00

Victim reported she arrived home at approximately 7:20pm and observed a Hispanic male wearing a white in color muscle shirt, removing the above listed items from the victim's house.  The suspect saw the victim, dropped the items and fled the area on foot.

Items stolen: Ruger .22 caliber hand gun, X-Box 360 with games valued at $1,000.00.

Items damaged: 5 wooden Pella windows valued at $1,250.00

Victim reported sometime between 7/01/2011 to 7/14/2011 someone entered her residence by prying open several windows.  Once inside the suspect stole the above listed items.  The victim provided possible suspect information and the investigation is ongoing.

Stolen: Misc Jewelry, One lap top computer,

Items damaged: one window and fence

On the above date victim reported unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry to the above stated property by cutting a wired fence. Entry was gained to the residence by taking a "potato shooter" and using it to break a "12X3" window. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed the above stated items. This case is pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 9,165.00
