Arrested: Ashley Roybal, age 23, Santa Fe, NM

On this date Deputies responded to above location and observed suspect damaging property at residence.  Suspect battered victim causing injury prior to Deputies arrival at the residence.  Suspect damaged/destroyed property belonging to the victim estimated at $2,000.00. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

 


Case# 0211000432 Breaking and Entering

Location:  7400 Block Lajara Road (Riverside MHP)

On 1-10-2011  at 12:27 AM person(s) unknown gained entry to a vehicle parked at a residence at the location.  The vehicle was unsecure and nothing was removed.  The victim chased the suspects at which time one of the suspects is alledged to have brandished a knife.

Location:  residence off of Bonnie Lane, Edgewood, NM (off of Roberts Drive)

On 1/9/11 deputy was dispatched to above location.  Upon arrival victim stated that she had gone to her residence on 1/8/11 and left at 1700 hours.  Victim stated that she returned today at 1530 hours and noticed that a rollaway toolbox w/misc tools, 7-8 bags of hand tools, bench grinder, diagnostic testers, and a bag of misc. toys were taken from the garage.  There was no forced entry into the residence.  Victim stated that all the items belonged to her ex-husband.  Estimated value of items taken is $2250.00.


Case#:  0211000407/ Aggravated Battery/ Date:  01/09/11

Location:  Leaping Powder Road & Soleado Lane, Santa Fe, NM (Arroyo Hondo area)

On 1/9/11 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to an ambulance assist.  Upon arrival the victim was found to have sustained major injuries to his neck, face and head.  Victim was transported to St. Vincent Hospital and could not recall what had happened to him.  During the investigation, it was discovered that the victim and the suspect had an altercation earlier in the day.  Criminal Investigations were called out to take over investigation.  Case is still under investigation.


0211000404, Auto Burglary, 1/9/11

Location: #2 Vista del Monte   Allsups/ Hwy 14

Suspect: Pending

Victim reports stopped for fuel and entered store.  Upon return to vehicle a snow board and bindings were taken from victim's 2006 Toyota Tacoma.  Case is under investigation.


0211000398, Commercial Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property

Location: Santa Fe Ski Area   Hyde Park Road

Suspect: Pending

Victim reports building was entered through unlocked window that houses ATM.  ATM was tampered with and forced entry into machine was attempted.  Case is under investigation.


Case# 0211000388 Arson

Location:  General Grant Avenue, (La Puebla)

On 1-8-2011 at 8:15 PM person(s) unknown, utilizing an unknown type substance intentionally set fire to a residence at the location.  The residence was occuppied at the time of the incident, but there were no injuries as a result of the fire.  The State Fire Marshal's Office responded to the scene and opined that the fire was intentionally started.


Case# 0211000380 DWI (Felony)

Location:  State Road 502, Mile Marker 17 (Pojoaque)

Vehicle:  Gold, 2000, Chevy, S-10 Blazer

Suspect:  Gloria Martinez, 52, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI (Felony), Driving While License Suspended or Revoked, Roadways

                  Laned for Traffic, Open Container, Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility

On 1-8-2011 at 8:11 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle east at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test.  Results of this test are pending.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request and was also in possession of an open bottle of whiskey.  The suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is revoked with the Arrest Clause attached.  The suspect has four prior DWI Offenses.  The vehicle was siezed in accordance with the Santa Fe County DWI Vehicle Forfieture Ordinance.


Case# 0211000342 Aggravated DWI

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Speeding, Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility, Open

On 1-8-2011 at 1:25 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle east at the location at 66 miles per hour in a posted 35 mile per hour zone.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor  and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request and was found to be in possession of an open bottle of beer. 


Case#:  0211000372/ Burglary, Larceny/ Date:  01/08/11

Location:  residence off of Vista Bella, Santa Fe, NM (off of SR285 near Lamy)

On January 8, 2011 deputies were notified  to contact  victim reference to an possible auto burglary that occurred on January 6, 2011.  Victim stated while showing clients several properties, she noticed that her and her clients purses were missing  from her vehicle. Victim advised the purses went missing sometime between 1330 hours and 1730 hours on January 6, 2011. I was unable to contact the other victim at this time. Estimated value of items taken is $1040.00
