Arrested: Naomi Martinez, Age:34, Santa Fe NM

Deputy observed vehicle making a wide turn, and conducted a traffic stop.  Deputy contacted the driver, the above listed suspect and observed signs of impairment.  Deputy attempted to conduct tests on suspect at which time she refused all tests.  Deputy determined suspect was impaired and placed suspect under arrest and booked her accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Location: 100 block of Vaqueros Road (El Dorado)

Stolen: 2- AK style rifles  (unknown cal), 12Gauge shotgun, 12Gauge ammunition

Suspect: Pending

Victim reported that sometime between January 2011 and this date someone took the above items from inside the residence.  Entry was not forced and it is unclear when entry was made or how.  Case is under investigation.

Location:  3600 Gunnison Road, Santa Fe, NM (Riverside MHP)

On 6/14/11 at approximately 1500 hours a witness observed a Dodge van red in color park in the driveway where the victim resides.  A witness observed a hispanic male run into the vehicle and drive away at a high rate of speed.  The homeowner arrived at 1700 hours and noticed that the suspect entered the residence and stole 3 pairs of cowboy boots, 2 cowboy hats, 2 pair of Dickie men's shorts, 1 digital TV box and 1 car stereo.  Estimated value of items taken is $1060.00.

Location:  2500 block of Sycamore Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Cottonwood MHP)

Suspect #1:  16 year old male

Suspect #2 16 year old male

On 6/14/11 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary in progress.  Victim's daughter was home when the suspects unlawfully gained entry through a bathroom window at around 1140 hours.  Suspects were later located in the area, detained and interviewed by the Investigations Division.  Suspects stole misc. jewelry which is valued at $200.00.  Suspects were booked into the Juvenile Detention Center.  Estimated damage amount is $300.00.

Location:  Calle Lazo Errante and Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM

On 6/14/11 at approximately 1714 hours, deputy observed a white Kia Sorento parked in a field between Agua Fria and Vista Verde MHP.  The vehicle was unoccupied.  Upon further investigation the vehicle had been reported stolen to the city police on 6/13/11.  The vehicle was bearing NM KLT429 which is the wrong license plate.  Estimated value of the vehicle is $10,000.


0211008296, Bringing Contraband into Place of Imprisonment, 6-14-2011

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center

Arrested: Andrew Herrera, Age:19 Santa Fe New Mexico

Deputy responded to the Santa Fe County Detention Center in reference to contraband found on a prisoner.  Deputy contacted jail staff who stated they discovered the above suspect had smuggled into the facility what appeared to be narcotics.  Deputy tested the substance and determined it was a narcotic.  Deputy charged and booked above suspect accordingly.

Location: 300 block of Santa Fe County Road 84 (El Rancho area of Santa Fe County)

Items stolen: Misc. vehicle and property titles, $200.00 cash, Ruger 10/22 rifle, 18" Sthil chainsaw and a breifcase

Value: approximately $600.00

Victim reported between June 8th 2011 and June 13th 2011 someone entered his residence by removing a window screen and stole the above listed items.  The investigation is ongoing.

Location:  residence off of Blue Moon Court, Espanola, NM (La Puebla)

On Monday June 13, 2011 deputies were dispatched to the above address reference to a residential burglary. Above victim stated someone unlawfully entered her home sometime between 0950 hours-1150 hours and stole a flatscreen TV, 2 gold rings, jewelry box and a desk top computer. Suspect(s) forced entry by using some type of tool to pry open front door.  Estimated value of items taken is $2875.00.  Estimated damage amount is $30.00

Items Stolen: 32 RCV flatscreen Television, Two ASICS lap top computers, miscellaneous jewelry.

Victim reported suspect unlawfully entered the residence at the above location by prying open the front door.  Once inside the residence suspect stole the above items.  Case is under investigation.

ITEMS STOLEN OR DAMAGED:  4 RIFLE'S, 1 HANDGUN, COLLECTABLE SPORTS ITEMS, CLOTHING, JEWLERY.  ITEMS VALUED AT ABOUT $233,950.00

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION VICTIM REPORTED BETWEEN 9:00 AM ON THE 11TH OF JUNE AND 6:00 PM OF THE 12TH UNKNONW PERSON (S) ENTERED THE RESIDENCE THROUGH AN UNLOCKED WINDOW.  SUSPECTS REMOVED A LARGE AMOUNT OF COLLECTABLE SPORTS ITEMS, BUSHMASTER AR15, HIPOINT 9MM RIFLE, PHOENIX ARMS 22 CAL HANDGUN, SAVAGE 22 CAL RIFLE AND A .22 CAL AK STYLE RIFLE, A SMALL SAFE WITH JEWLERY AND CLOTHING.  ITEMS WERE BOXED UP DUE TO VICTIM BEING IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING.  VICTIM REPORTED ITEMS VALUED AT ABOUT $233,950.00.  CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME.
