On 9/1/11 deputy responded to the above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between the hours of 1230 and 1500 unknown persons unlawfully entered his vehicle through an open window and stole a LG prepaid cell phone.  Victim stated that unknown persons damaged the battery cables to the vehicle.  Estimated value of the item taken is $100.00.  Estimated damage amount is $60.00.

Location:  Hyde Park Road mile marker 12, Santa Fe, NM

On 9/1/11 at the above location deputy responded to an auto burglary.  Victim advised that between 1230 and 1500 hours unknown persons broke the window  to his vehicle.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole a pair of Leopold 8 X 42 binoculars and 1 coin purse which contained $25.00 in change. Estimated value of items taken is $325.00.  Estimated damage amount to the window is $250.00.

On 9/1/11 deputy responded to victim's residence in reference to an auto burglary.  Victim stated that she left her vehicle unlocked at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino on 8/28/11.  Victim stated that unknown persons opened her vehicle and stole 1 bottle of perfume, 2 pair of Versce Sunglasses, 1 diamond engagement ring, 1 white gold watch, and 1 debit Visa card.  Estimated value of items taken is $3717.00.


CASE 0211013049 / AGGRAVATED DWI, SPEEDING AND DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED OR REVOKED LICENSE / 09-01-2011

LOCATION:  STATE ROAD #14, NEAR HIGHWAY #599, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  MANUEL ROMERO, 36YOA MALE, SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  AGGRAVATED DWI, SPEEDING AND DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED OR REVOKED LICENSE

ON THIS DATE DEPUTY OBSERVED SUSPECT SOUTH BOUND STATE ROAD 14 SPEEDING 70MPH IN THE POSTED 45MPH SPEED ZONE.  SUSPECT WAS STOPPED FOR TRAFFIC VIOLATION AND FOUND TO HAVE BEEN DRINKING AND DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE.  SUSPECT REFUSED BREATH TESTING AND WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.  VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

ITEMS STOLEN OR DAMAGED:  $400.00 IN CASH

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, VICTIM REPORTED THAT ON AUGUST 25TH, 2011, SUSPECT FORCED HIS WAY INTO VICTIMS BEDROOM AND REMOVED $400.00 IN CASH FROM A DRAWER.  VICTIM DID NOT REPORT IT UNTIL TODAYS DATE, WHEN SHE COULD NOT FIND THE CASH.  SUSPECT DID LIVE AT THE HOUSE, BUT HAD MOVED OUT TWO WEEKS AGO.  SUSPECT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AND CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME.

ITEMS STOLEN OR DAMAGED:  2-TENTS, GLASS WEAR, JEWELRY, TOOLS, CLOTHING, CAR BATTERY, ITEMS VALUED AT $1,120.00.

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION VICTIM REPORTED THE FOLLOWING:  WHILE SHE WAS IN JAIL HER LANDLORD AND HIS HELPER ENTERED HER HOME AND BAGGED UP BELONGINGS AND REMOVED THEM.  VICTIM STATED SHE WAS NOT EVICTED AND HER RENT WAS PAID UP TODATE.  ITEMS VALUED AT $1,120.00.  CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS POINT.

Location: Chamisa Head Trail, Santa Fe, NM (Hyde Park)

Stolen: $270.00 cash, GPS case, Camera case, and ATM Debit Card

Victim reported that on August 31, 2011 between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. someone unlawfully gained entry into her vehicle and removed the above items from her 2011 Toyota Camera Rental. Victim was hiking at the above location. Suspects are pending further investigation.

The above stolen items are valued at about $315.00

On 8/31/11 deputies responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between the hours of 0700 and 1430  unknown persons gained entry to her home through an open window that housed an air conditioning unit.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole 4 laptop computers, misc. jewelry, a Wii Nintendo gaming system, misc. prescription medication and misc. clothing.  Estimated value of items taken is $11035.00.  Unknown persons damaged the air conditioning unit and the mounts.  Estimated damage amount is $60.00.

Location: residence off Los Pinos Road, Santa Fe N.M.

Arrested: Abraham Prado-Garcia, 43-year-old male froom Santa Fe N.M.

    On 08/30/2011 at about 10:00pm Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance between a husband and wife at the above location.  The investigation revealed the above subject assaulted his wife durring the altercation.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail oon the above charge.

Location: 4641 Airport Road #6, Mini Super Delicias store

Items stolen: cash and an unknown amout of calling cards

    On 08/30/2011 at approximatley 10:30pm the store owner received a call from the alarm company advising of an activated alarm at the store.  The owner arrived at the store to find that someone had forced entry into the store and stole the above listed items.  Deputies responded, conducted an investigation and obtained evidence on scene.  The investigation is ongoing.
