On September 5, 2011 suspect called 911 stating she believed she had just killed someone via cell phone. Deputies responded and contacted the suspect and victim. It was determined that the victim and suspect argued over drinking and family. Suspect armed herself with a metal flashlight and struck the victim in the head twice causing serious injury. Victim was transported to the hospital and suspect was taken into custody and transported to jail where she was booked accordingly.

On 9/5/11 deputies responded to 6420 Elm Street in reference to a criminal damage to property in progress call. While enroute to the above address, victim stated that the suspect fled the area on foot. Deputies located the suspect off of Poplar attempting to flee from deputies. Suspect was located and was yelling very loudly and being uncooperative. Contact was made with the victim who stated that suspect broke the windows to his residence and smeared blood all over her. Suspect was then transported to St. Vincent Hospital for minor cuts to his hand and foot. He was then charged, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
