Location: 07-A County Road 119S, Santa Fe, New Mexico (Nambe)

On 07.20.2011 at about 4:45 a.m. victim reported unknown suspect gained unlawful entry to the above stated address, while victim was home. Once inside the residence, victim armed himself with a firearm and told the suspect that he called 911. Suspect then fled the area on foot. Suspect is pending further investigation.


CASE 0211010424 / BURGLARY, LARCENY / 07-19-2011

LOCATION:  1200 BLOCK OF CALLE INEZ, SANTA FE AREA

ITEMS STOLEN OR DAMAGED:  X-BOX GAME AND CONTROLLER AND 25 GAMES, VALUED $1,700.00

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LOCATION VICTIM REPORTED THEY HAD LEFT THE HOUSE AT ABOUT 4:30 PM AND RETURNED ABOUT 9:00 PM AND FOUND WHERE SOMEONE HAD BEEN INSIDE THEIR HOUSE.  SUSPECT (S) LEFT VICTIMS BEDROOM DOOR OPEN, WHICH THEY STATED THEY HAD CLOSED BEFORE LEAVING.  VICTIMS REPORTED THAT THE ABOVE LISTED ITEMS HAD BEEN REMOVED.  CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME. 


CASE 0211010425 / DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE / 07-20-2011

LOCATION:  3700 BLOCK OF LUNA DE MIEL, TIERRA REAL AREA

ARRESTED:  JAIRO SANDOVAL, 24 YOA MALE, SANTA FE

CHARGES:  DWI

ON THIS DATE SUSPECT WAS LOCATED IN HIS DRIVEWAY AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, AFTER SEARCH OF THE AREA WAS COMPLETED LOOKING FOR HIM AS A SUSPECT IN A HIT AN RUN CRASH.  SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO IMPAIRED.  AFTER DWI INVESTIGATION WAS COMPLETED SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.  INVESTIGATION FOUND THAT THERE WAS NO CRASH.

Location:  3300 Calle Po Ae Pi, Santa Fe, NM (off of Airport Road)

On 7/19/11 victim reported that unknown persons forced open her sliding screen door which was located.  Victim was not home at the time but left the sliding glass door open.  All items appeared to be intact and nothing appeared to be missing.  The screen was taken off of the track and the locking mechanism was no longer functional.  Victim did not know an estimated damage amount.  Victim stated that this occurred betwen 7/18/11 at 1530 and 7/19/11 at 0115 hours.

Location:  residence off of San Marcos Trail, Santa Fe, NM (off of SR 14)

On 7/19/11 deputy responded to a fraud at the above location.  Victim stated that between 5/1/11 and 7/8/11 she was led to believe that she won $10,000,000.00, a vehicle and a week vacation all expenses paid if she sent various fees and payments throughout the past few months.  Victim stopped paying fees when suspects did not deliver the winnings.  Victim is out a total of $98,699.00.

Location:  5100 block of Hammond Circle, Santa Fe, NM (Off of Caja del Oro Grant Rd.)

On 7-19-11, deputy met with victim at the Sheriff's Office. Victim advised  that three months ago she had called Dish Network to obtain satellite service for her home. Victim stated that after giving her information the representative told her that she already had an account set up and that they could not install the satellite at her home. She stated that they would not give her any more information. She has not received any bills from Dish Network for the existing service.


0211010383 / Battery against a household member / 07-18-2011

Location: 2700 Block of Boylan Circle    Santa Fe,NM

Suspect: Martin Romero        Age: 22            Santa Fe,NM

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival and during the investigation it was determined that the suspect had slapped the victim during an argument about the victim not disconnecting a battery charger. Victim sustained redness to the face area. Suspect then continued to punch holes in the walls of the home causing more than $1000.00 in damages.  Suspect was arrested and taken to jail where he was booked accordingly.

Location:1000 Block of Fairway Village       Santa Fe,NM (Southwest )

Victim reported returning home and finding the front door wide open. Victim said that upon inspection of the home he found US Currency and a paintball gun had been stolen. This case is still under investigation.

Location: Lot off of Callejon De Rita, Santa Fe, New Mexico (Off of Agua Fria)

On July 18, 2011 Deputy responded to above location in reference to a Larceny and Criminal Damage to Property.  Items taken from the property were 6 bundles of 50X6 Chain Link Fence.  Forced Entry was used to gain entry onto the property.  A witness saw a Blue Pickup in the yard loading missing items reported.  A lock and chain were damaged.  Estimated damage $50.00.  Estimated value of property stolen is $1200.00

Location:  2800 block of Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, NM (City of Santa Fe)

On 7/18/11 deputy was dispatched to Santa Fe Police Department in reference to an Identity Theft.  Victim was arrested and booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque, NM on a bench warrant on a failure to appear.  Victim stated that he never received any citations and was unaware that he had to go to court.  Victim stated that the address listed on the citation does not belong to him.  It is unknown on how the suspect gained information on the victim.  Case pending further investigation.
