Stolen: $300. in coin, 5 gold plated necklaces, 1 gold heart pendant, 2 JVC video cameras, 2 I pods, 2MP3 players, a digital camera, a Wii game console and 12 games.

Victim reported on this date sometime between 1:45pm and 3:00pm some unknown person burglarized the above residence. Unlawfully entry was gained by removing a window screen and entering through the open window. Upon entering the above listed items were stolen valued at about $3430.00
 


0210007864 Burglary

Stolen: pending

Victim reported sometime between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:15 PM, suspect(s) gained entry into the residence through he kitchen window. Once inside suspect(s) broke two mirrors in the house one in the kitchen valued at $300.00 and one in the living room valued at $800.00. Suspect(s) then went into the victim's bedroom and removed the covers off the bed and put them on the floor. Victim stated he did not notice anything missing from the house when he checked. Victim also stated he feels that it could have been his ex girlfriend.
 


0210007857 Burglary

Location: Las Estrellas, Santa Fe NM (La Cienega area)

Stolen: 2 computers, 32" flat screen television and two custom necklaces

Victim reported sometime between the hours of 9:00 and 12:12 PM, victims house was burglarized suspect(s) gained entry by kicking in the front door of the house and studio causing damage to the wooden doors and frames. Once inside suspect(s) stole two Apple computers valued at $2500.00 each a 32" Sony Flat screen television valued at $1,000.00 and two custom necklaces one valued at $50.00 the other at $100.00.
Suspect(s) were in the act of burglarizing another residence. Sheriff's deputies were call to the location and observed the suspect vehicle. Deputies pursued the suspect vehicle a blue Toyota Tacoma to Waldo Canyon Road where the suspect vehicle's right rear tire blew out. Suspect fled the scene on foot. Victim's property was located in the truck and was returned to her. The only items that are still missing are the two necklaces.
 


0210007856/ Breaking and Entering/ 09-18-10

Location: Nancy's Trail- La Cienega

On 09-18-10  the victim reported that she was home when a blue in color Toyota Tacoma pulled into her driveway. Shortly after the victim reported she heard a crash and looked down stairs to find  a young male at her door. The victim stated that the male then fled in the above vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle however, the suspects had abandoned the vehicle. Suspects are pending.


0210007851/ Battery Upon a Household Member/ 09-18-10

Location: State Road 14- Madrid

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member

Arrested:  Michael Newman age: 39

On 09-18-10 the above Deputy responded to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival it was learned that the above suspect pushed a family member causing the victim to fall.  The victim did have bruising from landing on a pile of rocks. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Location:  1000 Block Camino Vista Aurora, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Hope Castaneda, 34, Ssanta Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery Against a Household Member

On September 19, 2010 at 12:13 AM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the suspect  struck and scratched the victim.


Case# 0210007865 DWI (Felony)

Location:  Old Las Vegas Highway at Arroyo Hondo Road

Vehicle:  Black, 2004, Chevy, Blazer

Suspect:  Theresa Gonzales, 54, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI (Felony), Driving While License Suspended or Revoked

On September 18, 2010 at 7:54 PM the suspect was found passed out in the vehicle at the location.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is revoked with the arrest clause attached.  This check also revealed that the suspect has three prior DWI offenses.  The vehicle wa seized oursuant to  the Santa Fe County DWI Vehicle Forfieture Ordinance.


0210007861 Death Investigation

Location: Placitas Road (La Puebla area) NM

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (63 year old female) passed away at her residence with family members present. It was determined that the victim died of natural causes; there were no signs of foul play. Victim had a lengthy medical history.

Suspect:  Jason Roybal, 22, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated Burglary, Battery Against a Household Member, Interference

                   With Communication, Larceny, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer

On September 18, 2010 at 12:36 AM the suspect unlawfully entered a residence at the location by force.  The suspect the battered the victim and took her cell phone so that she could not call Law Enforcement.  Upon the arrival of deputies the suspect fled the area on foot.  After a search of the aree the suspect was eventually located and arrested.


0210007820/ Burglary/ 09-17-10

Location: Calle Don Enrique- Pojoaque

Stolen: $280.00 in quarters

On 09-17-10 the victim reported that an friend had stopped by his residence to borrow money. The victim reported that after the friend left he noticed that his money was missing from his truck. Contact was made with the friend who did not have the items in her possession. The case is still pending investigation.
