A suspect was seen running from a residence. An attempt was made to gain entry into the residence through a back door but was unsuccessful. The suspect forced an unknown instrument between the door and frame and tried to force it open damaging the door. Case is under investigation.

Damaged: 100 feet of barbed wire fence with cedar posts
The above stated items were damaged “between” October of 2010 and today at the above stated location. It appeared that the suspects(s) folded and removed the fence to gain access to a neighboring property. The neighbors were interviewed and stated that the fence was damged by a person that they knew, but is no longer in the area. They agreed to help fix the fence.
The above listed items were valued at about $ 2500.00

Stolen: Kenwood CD, an Army Bag containing misc. hand tools
Victim reported that between April 22, 2011 and May 6th 2011 someone broke the driver side mirror window and gained unauthorized entry into his 1988 Jeep pickup. Suspect(s) unlawfully removed the above stated items from said vehicle. Suspects are pending further investigation.
The above items stolen were valued at about $290.00

Stolen: Toolbox, hand tools, clock, deco mirror, misc jewelry, doorstop
Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a larceny. Victim stated that on this date sometime between 5/5/11 8:00am and 3:40pm some unknown person stole the above listed items from the victim’s residence as the residence was being packed up for a move.
The above listed stolen items were valued at about $1235.00

Arrested: Melanie Maiz 28 year old Female, Santa Fe NM
On this date Deputies conduct a traffic stop on the above suspect / vehicle. The suspect driver was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and a .22 caliber handgun. The above suspect was a convicted felon. The above driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Above listed suspect was stopped driving a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed. Deputy made contact with above suspect and observed signs of impairment. Deputy conducted several tests and determined suspect was impaired. Deputy placed suspect under arrest and was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center after submitting to a blood test.

Arrested: Thomas Montoya, Age:31, Santa Fe New Mexico
Deputies were dispatched to an assistance call involving an intoxicated male, the above listed suspect. The suspect was transported to a family members residence so he could sober up. Deputies were called out a second time because the above listed suspect was yelling at his family and banging on doors at the residence. Deputy then placed suspect under arrest and booked him accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Stolen: Ryobi battery charger, 1 gallon Campbell air compressor, 1 Workforce table saw, 1- 18 volt Ryobi Drill, 2 Ryobi rechargeable batteries
The above stated items were stolen between 12:00 pm on April 30th 2011 and 2:00 pm on May 4th 2011 at the above stated location. Entry was made through a locked shed door, which was only accessed with a key. There was no damage to the lock , the door or the shed itself. Suspects are pending further investigation.
