On Thursday, January 22, 2026, deputies responded to the above area for a welfare check on a male. Upon arrival, the male was found to be deceased. OMI was contacted to respond to the scene. The investigation found the death to be of natural causes, and nothing suspicious was discovered.
Case #2026000469/Abuse of a Child/01-22-2026

Location: 3100 Block of Agua Fria Street, Santa Fe, NM
Arrested: Marissa Martinez, 31 YOF
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a report of welfare check. Upon arrival, it was found that the above suspect had battered a child. The suspect was placed under arrest and was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, she was booked accordingly and without incident.

Location 100 Block of Los Pinos Road, Santa Fe, NM
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, the residence was found unoccupied, but there were signs someone had been inside. It was also observed that the suspect had gained unlawful entry into the residence by damaging the front door. The area was canvassed but no suspect could be located. This case remains under investigation.

Arrested: Dave Gallegos, 42 YOM
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, deputies responded to the above location for a report of an inmate found with suspected narcotics. Upon arrival, contact was made with detention officers. They advised the above inmate had admitted to possessing Suboxone. The Suboxone was located on his person and he was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location: Tres Famillias Lane, Santa Fe, NM
Stolen: Concrete Forms
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the victim advised someone had stolen several concrete forms from a shed on his property. The victim also advised he had located his stolen property at a neighbor's house. The stolen property was recovered and the victim declined to seek prosecution at this time.

Stolen: Coach Wallet, Clothing, Sunglasses
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, deputies made contact with a victim who advised on December 28, 2025, unknown suspects gained unlawful entry into a vehicle. Once inside, they stole the above mentioned items. This occurred between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. This case remains under investigation.
Case #2026000464/Driving while License is Revoked/01-22-2026

Arrested: Latoya Tsethlikai, 40 YOF
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, deputies responded to the above area to assist the Santa Fe Police Department with a traffic stop. Upon arrival, it was found a Santa Fe Police Officer had observed the above driver commit several traffic infractions. A traffic stop was conducted and it was discovered the driver's license was revoked, due to a previous DWI. She was placed under arrest and was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, she was booked accordingly and without incident.
Case#2026000456 Criminal Damage/Unlawful Taking of a MV.

Location: Bisbee Court (Santa Fe)
Stolen: 2017 Ram Pickup Truck 1500 NM Plate 720WGK
The vehicle was found to be stolen during the night time hours of 1/22/25. Investigation revealed someone cut the gate to the location and stole the listed vehicle. Case is under investigation.
Case#2026000457 Unattended Death 1-22-26
Assigned: J. Vega

Location: Nine Mile Road
Deceased: 82 yoa female
The subject was located deceased at her residence at about 2:20 a.m. The subject had multiple illnesses and a DNR in place. No signs of foul play were observed. OMI took possession of the deceased.
Case#2026000453 Warrant Arrest/Revoked Driver’s License/ Located Missing Person 01-22-26
Assigned: M. Ward

Location: Airport Road/ Peach St.
Arrested: Estrella Quiroz-Lovato 19 yoa female Santa Fe
Subject was stopped for a traffic violation, and found to be operating the vehicle while her license is revoked due to a prior DWI. She was also found to have an active arrest warrant out of Santa Fe Magistrate Court for failing to appear. A further NCIC chedk revealed Estrella was a missing person out of SFPD. SFPD was notified and Estrella was removed from NCIC as a missing person.
