Mr. Calabaza was contacted by deputies when he was observed jay walking across Cerrillos Rd. He was found to have an outstanding warrant for probation violation. He was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

On 1/27/2026 Deputies responded to the above location. Deputies spoke with Correction Officer who advised they had found drugs on Shannon Montoya. Drugs were tested and found positive. Arrested was charged and re-booked into the jail.

Deputies were dispatched to the above residence in reference to a domestic disturbance.
It was found that the suspect damaged a light fixture worth approximately $100 and a mirror worth approximately $100. The suspect also threw items at the victim. The victim claimed she believed the suspect was attempting to hit her with the items as she had to dodge them to avoid being struck.
Suspect was arrested and booked for the above listed charges.

Stolen: Salomon Snowboard (red in color)
On Saturday, January 24, 2026, deputies were advised of a larceny at the above location. The victim advised the snowboard was stolen from a ski rack around 2:00 pm. This case remains under investigation.

A was vehicle stopped by deputies for failure to maintain lane. Passenger, Ms. Archuleta, did not have a seat belt. She had a failure to appear warrant, original charge of criminal tresspass. She was arrested and booked without incident.

On Friday, January 23, 2026, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a male who was not conscious and not breathing. Upon arrival, it was found the male was beyond life-saving efforts. OMI was summoned to the scene to conduct an investigation. Based on the investigation, nothing suspicious was discovered or observed. Next of kin was notified.

On Friday, January 23, 2026, deputies were patrollling the above area when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for it not having valid registration. Contact was made with the above driver and signs of impairment were noted. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI. The driver consented to chemical testing and he was later booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Arrested- Armando Cardoso (20 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputies were dispatched to Interstate 25 around mile marker 272 in reference to a reckless driver check. The caller reported that a vehicle nearly struck the guardrail and was swerving all over the road. The caller reported the vehicle exited at Cerrillos Rd. Deputies located the vehicle as it exited on Cerrillos and observed the vehicle failing to maintain it's lane. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver displayed signs of impairment. He was arrested for DWI and was transported to the SFSO where he provided a breath sample. The results were at or above a .16 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.
