Charged: Burglary, Possession of drug paraphernalia
On 12/24/10 at about 1620 hours, victim stated that the above suspect climbed into his bathroom window of his apartment. Once inside the residence, victim grabbed the suspect and held him down until law enforcement arrived. During the struggle a pipe and marijuana fell out of the suspects jacket. Nothing was taken from within. Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Deputies responded to an aggravated assault with a handgun. Victim reports friend was intoxicated and pointed a handgun at victim. Suspect fled prior to Deputies arrival. Case is currently under investigation.

Deputies responded to a report of a 32 year old male unresponsive. Upon arrival it was discovered that the male had committed suicide. A note was also discovered by investigators. Office of the Medical Investigator and Criminal investigators are investigating the incident.

Suspect unlawfully entered the victims residence with an unauthorized key. When the suspect entered the residence he took a cell phone from the victim, as she was talking on the phone, and asked her who she was talking to. He then took the cell phone and left the residence. The case is under investigation.

Deceased: 63 year Old woman
Victim was a 63 year old woman who was visiting for the holidays. Victim went to sleep and was not feeling well. It should be noted that the victim suffered from a terminal illness. Victim was discovered unresponsive by family members. There were no signs of foul play.

On 12-22-10, suspect(s) used an object to pry off a lock on a homemade stock trailer. Once entry was made two saddles were taken from inside. Both saddles are brown in color. The saddles were valued at over $3000.00. The case is under investigation.

Damaged: Ruger hand gun, Toshiba laptop, 42” TV, 32”tv, 22cal revolver.
On this date victim reported that sometime between 9:00am and 5:00pm some unknown person unlawfully entered his residence possibly through an unlocked front door. Upon entering the residence the suspect stole the above listed items. The ruger was entered in to NCIC.
The above listed stolen items were valued at about $4250.00

On above date deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to an attempted burglary. Upon arrival it was determined that around 2:30pm unknown persons kicked the victim’s front door breaking it in half. The suspect did not enter the residence and ran off after seeing people inside the house.
The damage was estimated to be about $350.00

Victim reported that on this date sometime between 10:00am and 1:00pm some unknown person unlawfully entered their unlocked vehicle and stole the above listed items.
The items stolen were valued at about $1305.00
