Case# 0210006867 Driving While License Suspended or Revoked

Vehicle:  Green, 1998, Ford, Explorer

Suspect:  Jesus Almeida, 45, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:   Driving While License Suspended or Revoked, Failure to Obey Sign

On 8-17-2010 at 6:47 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle west bound at the location when he made a U-turn  where there is a sign posted prohibiting such a turn.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revcealed that the suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is revoked with the arrest clause attached.  The vehicle was not seized as this incident took place in an incorporated portion of Snta Fe County.


0210006860 Breaking and Entering

Location: Los Pinos Rd (La Cienega area)

Stolen: Pending

Victim reported that on this date some time between 8:00am and 5:00pm some unknown person forced open a bedroom window and entered his residence. Suspects ransacked the residence. Victim does not believe anything was stolen from the residence.

Location: Paseo Del Paisaion, Santa Fe NM (La Tierra area)

Stolen: Turquoise necklace and bracelet, silver/crystal necklace

On this date Victim reported that while she was out of town for an extended time, a pest control company was contracted to remove some moths from her residence. Upon returning home victim noticed the above listed items missing valued at about $1800.00
 


0210006852 Burglary

Location: Camino Pacifico, Santa Fe NM (Seaton Village area)

Stolen: 47” Flat Screen TV.

Victim reported that on this date sometime between 11:00am and 1:10pm some unknown person unlawfully entered his residence by kicking open the front door. Upon entering the residence the above listed items were stolen valued at about $1200.00
 


0210006856 Unlawful taking of a Motorvehicle

Location: Nancy’s Trail Santa Fe NM (599 frontage rd area)

Stolen: 2007 homemade 6’x10’ Black Motorcycle Trailer with 6’ ramp.

Victim reported that sometime between 8/3/10 and 8/17/10 some unknown person stole his Motorcycle trailer from the above location. The trailer had reflectors and running lights on the rails and was valued at about $1200.00.
 


Case#:  0210006828/ Burglary, Larceny/ Date:  08/16/10

Location:  residence off of Sculpture Road, Santa Fe, NM (Silverado Subdivision)

On 8/16/10 between 1040 and 1700 hours, victim stated that unknown persons entered his residence.  Victim stated that the suspects took a Sony TV, a laptop computer, and keys to the residence.  There was no forced entry.  Estimated value of items taken is about $4000.00.

 


Case# 0210006835 Aggravated DWI

Location:  US Highway 84/285, Mile Marker 176

Vehicle:  White, 1996, Buick, 4 door

Suspect:  Male, 17, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic, License to be Carried and

                   Exhibited Upon Demand

On 8-17-2010 at 2:11 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel and almost struck a Tesuque Tribal Police Department Patrol Vehicle that was on the shoulder of the roadway with its emergency lights activated.  The suspect was found to be impaired and refused to submit to a Blood Test.  The suspect was not in possession of his valid New Mexico Driver's License at the time of the incident.


Case# 0210006831 DWI (Felony)

Location:  I-25 Mile Marker 285, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Gray, 1987, Toyota, 4-Runner

Suspect:   Louie Garduno, 46, Albuquerque, NM

Charged:  DWI (Felony), Roadways Laned for Traffic, Open Container, Driving While

                   License Suspended or Revoked, Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility

On 8-16-2010 at 8:43 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to  be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater.  This was the suspect's fourth DWI arrest.  The vehicle was siezed in accordance with the Santa Fe County DWI Vehicle Forfieture Ordinance.  There was an open bottle of Crown Royal and and open bottle of Bud Light Beer in the vehicle.  The suspect was unable to produce valid proof of insurance.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect's New Mexico Driver's Li cense is revoked with the arrest clause attached unless he is operating a vehicle equipped with an Ignition Interlock.  The Ignition Interlock in the vehicle was disconnected and non-operational at the time of this incident.

Victim reported that on this date some time between 5:34pm and 5:38pm some unknown person unlawfully entered the above residence through and open window and stole the above listed items valued at about $1100.00
