On 03-25-2010 the above Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a gold Chevy Silverado. Upon making contact was made with the driver, who admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage(s) prior to driving. The driver submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, during which signs of impairment were observed. The driver was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test with the result of .18/.17 BrAC. The driver was tranported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly.

On 3/25/10, Deputies resonded to Vuelta Ventura in reference to a domestic dispute, in which both parties were arguing about domestic and financial issues. The verbal argument turned physical, at which time the suspect gave the victim numerous "bear hugs" and threw her down on the bed, refusing to let her get up and leave. The victim fought back, scrathing the suspect in the face/neck andable to break free and ran out of the home, where she waved down Deputies. Suspect was arrested, and charged accordingly. Victim complained of pain to her lower back/side, and was treated and released by SF County Fire Dept.

Subject was arrested after a being stopped for a traffic offence. It was found that the above subject had a revoked driver’s license stemming from a DWI. Subject was arrested and his vehicle was seized by virtue of County Ordinance.

Subject was arrested after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance where the above subjects’ wife was battered. The wife had injuries consistent with a battery and she indicated that the subject battered her. The suspect also admitted to battering the victim.

Victim reported that on Sunday, March 21, 2010 between 0930 and 1700 hours unknown persons entered her residence and stole 2 bottles of her prescribed medication. The only damage was done to the door lock which is not working properly. Estimated value of items taken is $30.00. Estimated damage amount is unknown.

On 3/24/10 victim stated he found misc. tools stolen from his tool box. Victim stated that he locked his toolbox. Victim stated that he parks his vehicle in the vistor parking lot next to his residence. Victim stated that there was no damage to the toolbox. Estimated value of items taken is $1960.00.

Location: residence off of Gold Lane, Santa Fe, NM
Aforementioned residence was burglarized between the hours of 0800 and 1100 today. Victim's had departed their residence at 0800 and requested their neighbor watch their home. Neighbor stated he took the victim's dog for a walk and returned at about 1100 hours and noticed that the home was burglarized. Entry was through north side window. No damage. Suspects rummaged through residence. Unknown on what was taken. Estimated value of items taken is pending.
0210002310/ Possession of a Contolled Substance/ 03-23-10

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance to wit Cocaine, D.W.I., Driving on a Suspended or Revoked License
Arrested: Jesus Varela- Hernandez age: 38
On 03-23-10 the above defendant was observed operating a motor vehicle eastbound on Airport Road failing to maintain it's lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted on Cerrillos Road. During contact with the above male, it was observed that the male showed signs of impairment. The male submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, and was subsequently placed under arrest. I license inquiry showed that the above males license was revoked with the arrest clause. The male was transported to the Santa Fe County Jail, at which time he was found to be in possession of a white powdery substance. The substance was field tested and showed positive to be cocaine. The subject was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.
