On 9/14/09 deputy observed vehicle making an illegal turn onto Center Drive.  A traffic stop was conducted and upon contact with suspect it was found that he was driving on a suspended/revoked driver's license.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 9/14/09 victim advised that while doing inventory he noticed that an 8 ft. trailer was missing.  Victim reported that 2 other trailers were missing 2 weeks ago.  He estimated the value of the trailer to be $1,300.00.

Location:  100 block of Santa Fe County Road 84D, Santa Fe, NM (El Rancho)

On 09/14/09 victim stated that she discovered her check numbers out of sequence on her bank account statement.  Victim notified her bank in which they sent her a copy of the check.  Victim stated that the check had been forged.  Victim stated that she believes the checks may have been stolen from her residence.  Victim was able to stop payment on a second check.


Case#:  0209008233/ Aggravated DWI, Open container, Driving on roadways laned for traffic/ Date:  09/14/09

Location:  Cerrillos Road & Vegas Verdes, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Ever Paz, age 34,  Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Agg. DWI, Open Container, Driving on roadways laned for traffic

On 9/14/09 deputy observed vehicle making a U-turn almost striking another vehicle.  Vehicle was observed crossing over the fog line twice.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with suspect and signs of impairment were detected.  Suspect was arrested and read the NM Implied consent in which he submitted to a breath test.  BrAC results were .18, .18.  An open 12 oz. of Tecate beer was located behind the passengers front seat.  Suspect was then transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly.

On 9-13-2009 at 1:50 p.m. Deputy Garcia responed to an activated residential alarm at the above location.  Upon arrival, Deputy observed that force entry had been made into the residence through a bathroom window.  The residence and that area was checked although no suspect was located.  The residence owner arrived on scene and determined that the only item missing from the residence was her purse which contained a Palm Piliot valued at $350.00 .  No suspect or witness information is available at this time.

Victim reported that sometime between the hours of 8:00 p.m. on 9-12-09 and 7:30 a.m. on 9-13-09 an unknown person(s) gained forced entry into her residence and stole a Dell Laptop computer valued at $1000.  No suspect or witness information is available at this time.   


0209008206 Negligent Use of a Firearm 09-13-09

Arrested: Robert Gallegos 25yoa

On the above date, the above named officer was dispatched to the above location regarding shoots fired.  Uopn arrival complainant advised that her neighbors were shooting at her home.  Their was no evidence of the residence being hit.  Contact was made with the defendant who was intoxicated.  Located on the front porch of the defednant's residence were two spent rounds and one live round to a .223 caliber rifle.  Witnesses advised that he had yelled at he complainant calling her a "Rat" and shooting off the rifle.  The defendant was arrested and booked at the adult detention center.  For further information refer to report.

Arrested: Renee Salazar 24yoa

On the above date, the defedant was stopped for failure to come to a complete stop at a clearly posted stop sign.  Upon checking defendant's driving privledges, it returned that she had a revoked license with and arrest clause.  She was booked at the adult detention center.

On the above date, the defendant was stopped for crossing over the center line while turning onto the Auto-Zone parking lot.  Upon making contact, officer noted signs of impairment and defendant admitted to drinking.  Defednant failed field tests and was arrested.  Defednant had a .11 BrAC and was booked at the adult detetion center. 

 


0209008181 Giving Alcohol to Minors 09-13-09

Arrested: Alfred Sereno 19yoa

On the above date, officers were dispatched to the above location regarding a possible fight in progress.  Upon arrival contact was made with three juvenile females and the defendant.  All admitted to consuming alcohol and the defendant was also on electronic monitoring.  One of the females was released to her uncle, and the other two could not contact their parents.  The defendant was booked at the adult detention center, and the two females were taken to the juvenile detention center and later taken to the youth shelter.  For further information, refer to report.
