Victim reported that on this date between 4:00pm and 4:20pm some unknown persons burglarized the above listed residence. The front door was forced open by unknown means and sustained damage. It was unknown at this time if anything was stolen.

Deputies responded to the above listed area in reference to a death investigation. Upon arrival medical personal did not find any signs of life. There were no signs of foul play located at the residence. This case is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.

Arrested: Orlando Torrez, Age: 24, Address: PO Box 2377 Ranchos De Taos
Charges: Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Bringing Contraband In To A Place Of Imprisonment
On 05-26-10 the suspect was transported from the Taos County Detention Center to the Santa Fe County Detention Center where he is being held on felony charges. On 05-27-10 a strip search was done on the suspect and some contraband was found in his possession. He was booked and charged with the above charges.

On 05-27-10 the victim collapsed and died after playing tennis for 90 minutes. There was no signs of foul play. Case is still under investigation.

Victim reported that on 05-26-10 someone used her bank information to make 49 transaction through out the U.S.. Her bank contacted her and placed a freeze on her account. It is unknown at this time what the total amount of purchases is.

Victim reported that sometime between 01-01-10 and 05-27-10 his friend sold his motorcycle that he had parked in his friend's garage. The motorcycle was sold to a motorcycle shop in Albuquerque who in turn sold it to someone else.

On 05-27-10 an employee at the ECO Scapes reported that some one had broke the lock off their utility trailer and stole the Ground Tamper. This took place between 05-26-10 5:00 PM and 05-27-10 08:00 AM.

Victim reported that on 05-27-10 between the hours of 12:00 AM and 07:00 AM someone gained entry to her vehicle through an unsecured door. Once inside the suspect attempted to remove the stereo system. The only thing taken was the stereo face plate.
