Driver was observed traveling southbound on State Road 14 in a chevrolet Cavalier failing to maintain his lane of travel and traveling 20mph below the posted speed limit. Upon contact with driver the odoer of burnt marijuana was detected. The suspect was found in possession of Marijuana, digital scales as well as psilocybin mushrooms and other drug paraphernalia, encluding several glass smoking devices.

On 03-25-2010 the above Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a gold Chevy Silverado. Upon making contact was made with the driver, who admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage(s) prior to driving. The driver submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, during which signs of impairment were observed. The driver was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test with the result of .18/.17 BrAC. The driver was tranported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly.

Charges: False Imprisonment, Battery against a Household Member

On 3/25/10, Deputies resonded to Vuelta Ventura in reference to a domestic dispute, in which both parties were arguing about domestic and financial issues. The verbal argument turned physical, at which time the suspect gave the victim numerous "bear hugs"  and threw her down on the bed, refusing to let her get up and leave. The victim fought back, scrathing the suspect in the face/neck andable to break free and ran out of the home, where she waved down Deputies. Suspect was arrested, and charged accordingly. Victim complained of pain to her lower back/side, and was treated and released by SF County Fire Dept.

Subject was arrested after a being stopped for a traffic offence. It was found that the above subject had a revoked driver’s license stemming from a DWI. Subject was arrested and his vehicle was seized by virtue of County Ordinance.
