On 01-24-2010 Deputies were dispatched to a male, who was found to be deceased at the above location. The decedent had been cross country skiing. After returning to the parking area, the decedent collapsed. Santa Fe Med 1 arrived on scene and could not revive the victim. No foul play is expected in the incident.

The suspect(s) were able to gain entry into the residence. However, there did not appear to be any items missing at this time. The suspect(s) also kicked open the back door to the residence causing damage to the door. Suspect information is pending.

Above individual was stopped for speeding after he was observed traveling at 80 mph in a posted 65 mph zone. Upon making contact with the individual, displayed signs of impairment. The individual was placed under arrest for D.W.I. The individual was also unable to provide proof of insurance. The individual did submit to chemical testing with results of .10/ .10 BrAC. Suspect was transported to the Santa Fe County Jail and booked accordingly.

Stolen: Black Purse containing victims driver's license, credit cards, checks, and cash
Value: $1,800.00
On 01-23-2010 the victim reported that her purse was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at the above location. The incident occurred between 4:30pm and 6:00pm on the 23rd. There was no sign of forced entry into the vehicle. The victims purse was found in a trash can at the Riverside Mobile Home Park by the mailboxes. The above items were removed from the purse. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Deputies responded to the above location regarding a fight in progress. Preliminary investigation showed several individuals went to the residence and started an altercation with the occupants. The suspect(s) used baseball bats and knives in the altercation and one of the occupants of the residence was stabbed multiple times in the upper torso and arms. Other occupants sustained injuries from the baseball bats. At the time of the preliminary investigation, six suspects were named. The Santa Fe County Criminal Investigation Division was sent to the scene and they assumed the investigation and the search for the suspects.

Victim reported that sometime between Thursday January 21, 2010 at 12:00pm and this date at 8:30am an unknown person took above items from construction site at above location. No snow was disturbed at location and victim believes items were stolen on Thursday before snow fell in the area. The items stolen were valued at about $2400.00

On the above date, the above named officer conducted a traffic stop on the defednant for careless driving in the above area. Upon making contact, officer detected an odor on an alcoholic beverage. Officer had the defendant submit to field sobriety test, which he failed. The defendant was arrested and booked a the adult detention center. For further information, refer to officer's report.
