ON THIS DATE SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED IN HIS VEHICLE PARKED IN A COMMERCIAL AREA.  INVESTIGATION FOUND WHERE SUSPECT WAS INTOXICATED AND JUMPED INTO THE BACKSEAT OF VEHICLE WHEN HE OBSERVED DEPUTY APPROCHING THE VEHICLE.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED.  VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.


CASE 0210000220 / CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY “FELONY” /  01-08-2010

LOCATION: 4200 BLOCK OF AIRPORT ROAD, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  SPEAR MANUAL, 18 YOA MALE, FORT McDONELL, AZ AREA

CHARGES:  CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OVER $1,000.00

ON THIS DATE DEPUTY WAS SENT TO THE SANTA FE COUTNY JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER DUE TO A REPORT OF CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY.  INVESTIGATION FOUND WHERE SUSPECT LISTED ABOVE WAS UPSET AFTER TALKING TO FAMILY MEMBERS AND USED HIS BED FRAME TO BREAK SEVERAL WINDOWS, THEN BROKE THE PORCELAIN TOILET IN HIS ROOM AREA.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED AND TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.  VALUE OF ITEMS DAMAGED WAS OVER $1,500.00.


0210000208 Burglary

Stolen: 46" Samsung TV, Dell laptop Computer

 Sometime between 11:45am and 12:20pm on this date some unknown persons took the screen off a rear west facing window and forced the window off the track. Suspects gained unauthorized entry into the residence and stole the above stated items valued at about 2500.00.

Item: $390.51 in debit

 Victim reported that on 12/22/09 some unknown person defrauded $390.51 from her debit card through an online purchase. The online purchase was canceled and the amount was reimbursed to the victim after it was suspected to be a fraudulent charge.

Location:  residence off of Santa Fe County Road 84B, Santa Fe, NM (Agoyo)

On 1/7/10 victim wanted to file a report on his residence being broken into.  Victim stated that he was on vacation from December 14, 2009 at 0830 hours and January 7, 2010 at 1400 hours.  Victim stated that when he arrived home he noticed that unknown suspects had thrown a concrete block through the glass door located in the rear of the residence.  Victim stated that unknown suspects stole a Sony 42" flatscreen TV and a Samsung 52" flatscreen TV.  Estimated value of items taken is $4000.00.  Estimated damage amount is $1000.00.

Vehicle #2:  Blue/White, 1990, Ford, F-150, Pickup

Driver #2:  James L. Smith, 53, Bernalillo, NM (Back Pain)

Passenger #2A:  Anthony Garcia, 26, Albuquerque, NM (Uninjured)

Passenger #2B:  Vences Garcia, 25, Albuquerque, NM (Uninjured)

Vehicle #3:  Blue, 2000, Peterbilt, Semi-Truck with Great Dane Flatbed Trailer

Driver #3:  Daniel Baldizon Garcia, 28, San Bernadino, CA

On Thursday, 1-7-2010 at 1:07 AM the suspect was operating Vehicle #1 south at the location in the right lane.  Driver #2 was operating Vehicle #2 south at the location in the right lane.  Driver #3 was operating Vehicle #3 south at the location in the right lane behind Vehicle #2.  The suspect passed Vehicle #2 and an unidentified vehicle and then lost control of Vehicle #1.  Vehicle #1 entered a side slip, rotated 1/2 time in a counter clockwise direction and traveled 130 feet at which time it left the roadway on the left side.  Vehicle #1 then traveled 8 feet at which time the right side of Vehicle #1 struck a guardrail.  Vehicle #1 then traveled 87 feet before coming to rest facing north, impaled on the guardrail.  The suspect was airlifted to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center were he was treated for head, chest and leg injuries and then further transported by ambulance to the University of New Mexico Hospital.  The suspect displayed signs of impairment and a blood sample was obtained.  The suspect was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.  Vehicles #2 and #3 were struck by debris as a result of the impact of Vehicle #1 and the guardrail.


021000170 Aggravated Auto-Burglary 01-06-10

Location: Harry's Road House Old Las Vegas Hwy. SFNM

On the above date, the above named officer responded to the above lcoation regarding the above investigation.  Upon arrival, the victim advised that while he was having dinner at the resturant, person(s) unknown gained unlawful entery into his truck.  Once inside, suspect(s) stole a .45 caliber Kimber semi-auto handgun.  The gun was estimated at $1,400.00.  For further information, refer to officer's report.

On 1/6/10 victim wanted to file a report in reference to unknown suspects entering her residence through a side door by breaking the glass.  Victim stated that unknown suspects stole a 42" flatscreen TV, a wood splitter, and a chainsaw.  Estimated value of items taken is $1850.00  Estimated damage amount is $300.00.  Victim stated this occurred between 1000 and 1900 hours.


Case#:  0210000150/ Aggravated Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer/ Date:  01/06/10

Location:  US84/285 mm 171, Santa Fe, NM (Tesuque)

Suspect #1:  Kenneth Detenclaw, age 25, Chimayo, NM

Charged:  Aggravated Fleeing from a law enforcement officer, Driving on a suspended/revoked driver's license

Suspect #2:  Lena Detenclaw, age 30, Chimayo, NM

Suspect #3:  Greg Griego, age 34, Espanola, NM

On 1/6/10 a traffic stop was attempted after vehicle was spotted at the above location.  Vehicle was reported to have been involved in a larceny in the City of Santa Fe.  Vehicle failed to yield and continued onto SR 592.  Vehicle crashed on SR 592 just north of El Alto.  Two males and a female fled on foot.  The female was apprehended a short time later and was identified as Lena Detenclaw.  Deputy Solomon Romero apprehended the male passenger identified as Greg Griego.  Tesuque Tribal Officer apprehended the driver, Kenneth Detenclaw and he was charged accordingly.  All parties were interviewed and charged accordingly by the Santa Fe Police Department.  All suspects were then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location:  residence off of Lucero Road, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado)

On 1/6/10 deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to victim wanting to report unknown persons using his credit card.  Victim stated he received a bill from HSBC bank stating there were charges on his Best Buy credit card totaling the amount of $2916.99.  Victim stated he did not make the charges.  Victim stated that he could not locate his Best Buy credit card and does not know who made the charges.
