Charges: Agg. D.W.I. , Roadways Laned for Traffic, and Open Container

On 01-09-10 the above driver was arrested for the above charges after being observed operating a Jeep  Cherokee while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. The driver was also found to be in possession of an open bottle of whiskey. The driver refused to submit to chemical testing. Driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

021000251 Death Investigation

Location: Camino Ancon, Santa Fe NM

 34 male was found deceased at his residence at approximately 7:30am by family members. Initial investigation revealed no signs of foul play at the scene. Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office Investigators were called to the scene and concluded the investigation.

ON THIS DATE DEPUTY'S WERE SENT TO ABOVE LISTED LOCATION DUE TO A REPORT OF A DOMESTIC

  INVESTIGATION FOUND WHERE VICTIM FLAGGED DOWN CITY POLICE OFFICER DUE TO BEING INVOLVED IN AN ALTERCATION WITH SUSPECT.  INVESTIGATION SHOWED WHERE BOTH HAD BEEN DRINKING MOST OF THE DAY AND THEN THEY WENT TO POJOAQUE TO THE CASINO, WHERE THEYU GOT INTO ANOTHER ARGUMENT, SO THEY LEFT.  SUSPECT THREW A CD AT VICTIOM AND HIT HER IN THE HEAD, THEN BACKHANDED VICTIM IN THE FACE.  SUSEPCT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED.

CHARGES:  AGGRAVCATED DWI, FAILURE TO DIM HEAD LIGHTS

ON THIS DATE SUSPECT WAS STOPPED WEST BOUND AGUA FRIA, NEAR JEMEZ ROAD FOR FAILURE TO DIM LIGHTS, BY SGT. CLIFTON COLEMAN.  OFFICER FOUND WHERE SUSPECT HAD BEEN DRINKING AND TURNED INVESTIGATION OVER TO DWI OFFICER, SHANNON COLES.  SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO BE INTOXICATED (.17 BrAC) AND WAS ARRESTED.  SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED ON ABOVE LSITED CHARGES.  VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

ARRESTED:  JOSEPH PHILLIPOVICH 3RD, 29 YOA MALE, SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  AGGRAVATED DWI, OPEN CONTAINER AND CARELESS DRIVING

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, DEPUTY WAS SENT DUE TO A SINGLE VEHICLE ROLL OVER CRASH.  DEPUTY ARRIVED AND LOCATED SUSPECT TRYING TO LEAVE THE AREA.  INVESTIGATION FOUND WHERE SUSPECT WAS NORTH BOUND ON STATE ROAD 14, WHEN HE CROSSED OVER THE CENTER MEDIAN STILL HEADING NORTH BOUND IN THE SOUTH BOUND LANE.  SUSPECT SAW VEHICLE COMING AT HIM, SO HE OVER CORRECTED AND LOST CONTROLL OF VEHICLE WHEN HE HIT THE CENTER MEDIAN AGAIN AND IT ROLLED HIS VEHICLE.   SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO HAVE AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL IN HIS POSSESSION.  SUSPECT RECEIVED MEDICAL ATTENTION AND THEN TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER WHERE HE WAS BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.

Victim:  47-year-old male

 

On 01-9-2010 at approximately 11:30 a.m. a 47-year-old male was discovered deceased in the driveway of a residence at the above location.  According to the victims brother, the victim exited the residence at approximately 11:00 a.m. and after not returning he went outside and discovered him in the driveway unresponsive.  Victim had a medical history and no signs of foul play discovered.

CHARGES:  PENDING

ON THIS DATE VICTIM CALLED AND REPORTED THAT SHE HEARD FOUR OR FIVE GUN SHOTS IN THE AREA AND THEN HEARD A WINDOW BREAKING.  INVESTIGATION SHOWED WHERE UNKNOWN PERSON (S) HAD SHOT A PROJECTILE THROUGH VICTIMS SLIDDING GLASS DOOR, BREAKING IT.  VALUE OF THE DOOR WAS ESTIMATED TO BE ABOUT $500.00.  A CHECK OF THE AREA WAS COMPLETED AND NO ONE WAS FOUND IN THE AREA.  CASE IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME.
