on Thursday September 10, 2009 at 8:47pm the above listed subject was observed traveling southbound Bishope Lodge Road. The driver was observed failing to maintain his lane of travel. Upon contact with the driver the odor of intoxicating beverages was detected on the drivers breath. Driver was administeded the SFST's and displayed signs in all phases and was placed under arrest. Driver submitted to a breath test the results were .08/.09.

Victim reports home was entered by force through bedroom window and an X-box, several games and jewelry were taken. Case is under investigation.

Stolen: Sony Television, Miscellaneous Jewelry, Birth Certificates, and Social Security Cards.

Value:$1,900.00

Victim left the residence at 10:00am and returned home at 5:00pm. Upon entering the house, the victim discovered the above items missing. No sign of forced entry was located. No suspects have been identified at this time.

Victim stated that on this date between 9:30am and 12:00pm an unknown person(s) used an unknown pry tool to enter the above residence and take above items. The items stolen were valued at about $1450.00.

Victim reported that sometime between 9-8-09 4:00pm and 9-10-09 12:00 noon some unknown person(s) entered his residence through the rear door and stole the above listed items. It is unknown the value of the items stolen at this time.

Victim stated that between Tuesday September 8, 2009 at 9:00pm and this date at 7:00am an unknown person(s) entered the aforementioned unlocked vehicle and took the above item. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

CHARGES:  PENDING

ON THIS DATE DEPUTY'S WERE SENT TO ABOVE LISTED AREA DUE TO AN 8 AND 7 YEAR OLD CHILDREN FOUND IN THE AREA.  THE CHILDREN WERE TO BE PICKED UP AFTER SCHOOL AROUND 02:25 PM AND THEY WERE STILL THERE AFTER 05:00 PM.  oFFICALS WERE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THE PARENTS OF THE CHILDREN AND GOT SCARED AN CONTACTED THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE.  DEPUTYS WERE FINALLY ABLE TO REACH THE MOTHER, WHO STATED THAT SHE HAD TO GO TO EL PASO ON AN EMERGENCY AND STATED THAT HER ROOMATE WAS TO PICK UP THE CHILDREN.  DEPUTY'S WERE NOT THE PERSON MOTHER STATED TO PICKUP CHILDREN.  FATHER WAS LOCATED IN ESPANOLA AREA AND CAME TO PUICKUP HIS CHILDREN.  CASE IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME.

CASE 0209008084 / DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED OR REVOKED LICENSE, SPEEDING / 09-09-2009

LOCATION:  AIRPORT ROAD / CR 61-A, SANTA FE

ARRESTED:  GENE QUINTANA JR, 41 YOA MALE, SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  REVOKED LICENSE, SPEEDING

ON THIS DATE SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED SOPEEDING, EAST BOUND ON AIRPORT ROAD (54MPH/45MPH).  DEP[UTY STOPPED VEHICLE AND FOUND THAT THE SUSPECT WAS NOT ABLE TO SHOW DRIBVERS LICENSE.  A DRIVER'S LICENSE CHECK REVEALED SUSPECTS LICENSE WAS REVOKED DUE TO A DWI ARREST.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND HIS VEHICLE WAS SEIZED.  SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER.
