Victim reported that between 9-19-09 and 10-14-09 an unknown person used her master card via the internet to purchase $1151.24 of products from various vendors. It is unknown how the suspects got her credit card information.

Location:  residence off Vista Encantada, Edgewood, NM

On 10/29/09 victim reported that between October 23, 2009 and October 27, 2009 unknown persons gained access to a debit card and made several transactions resulting in about $1698.84.  All transactions were made in California.  Victim was advised by his bank, Wachovia.

Location:  7400 block of Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM

On 10/29/09 between 0830 and 1500 hours unknown persons entered victim's residence by entering a window and damaging it.  Once inside suspects took a Daisy pellet gun, a 26" TV, a WII game system, several WII games, and a Nikon camera.  Serial numbers were obtained and entered into NCIC.  Estimated value of items taken is pending.

Suspect/arrested: Chester R. Dunlap III, 1316 Bon Burt Ln, Las Cruces, NM AGE 31

Charges: DWI, Driver must be licensed, no insurance

On 10/29/09, 0134hrs/am, suspect was driving a 1993 Nissan, bearing NM plate# KXW-492, and was observed traveling 15-20 mph under the speed limit. Driver pulled over to the shoulder, and officer conducted a welfare check. Driver was found to be impaired, and was arrested, charged, booked accordingly. Breath tests were .12/.13

Suspect#2:  Samuel A. Bird, age 26, San Juan Pueblo, NM

Charged:  Possession of drug parapharnalia

On 10/28/09 deputy observed a red vehicle traveling on Camino de Quintana at a high rate of speed.  Vehicle was stopped.  A second red vehicle approached victim informing deputy that above suspects damaged the windshield.  Throughout deputy's investigation suspects were found in possession of narcotics, parapharnalia and 2 drills that were possibly stolen from Lowe's.  Suspects were arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  During the booking process suspect #1 was found to be in possession of cocaine.

On 10/28/09 victim reported that 40 pieces of textured steel were taken from his business.  Victim believed these items were taken by his employee over the period of the past 3 weeks.  Victim refused to relinquish suspect's name for fear of retaliation.  Estimated value of items taken is about $2400.00.

On October 28, 2009 victim reported that a relative used her idenitity to obtain two credit cards which were activated and used to make several purchases totaling $7,800.  Further investigation into the matter is pending.

On October 28, 2009 victim reported that sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. today an unknown person(s) gained force entry into his residence and stole $2,000 in cash, $3,000 in gold and silver jewelry and 2 compaq lap top computers.  No suspect or witness information is available at this time.

Charged:  Bringing contraband into a place of imprisonment

On 10/27/09 suspect was at a hearing at Drug Court and was remanded back to the custody of the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. Upon returning from Drug Court, suspect was questioned due to an intercepted phone call.  Suspect admitted to having contraband in her private area and contraband was seized by jail staff and law enforcement was contacted.  Suspect was booked and charged accordingly.

Location:  State Road 14 & Fireplace Road, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Rachel Tapia, age 37, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Agg. DWI, Possession of marijuana 1oz. or less, License to be carried

On 10/27/09 defendant was stopped for having a tail lamp out.  Upon making contact with teh defendant she was requested to produce her operator's license, registration, and insurance.  Of the requested documents the defendant was only able to produce the vehicle's registration.  While in contact with teh defendant an odor of marijuana smell was emitting from within the vehicle.  The defendant stated she had smoked some about five minutes prior to being stopped.  SFST's were conducted in which driver displayed signs of impairment.  The defendant was arrested and refused to submit to a chemical test.  Upon searching the defendant prior to placing her in the patrol vehicle a plastic baggie was located in her jacket pocket which contained a green leafy substance appearing to be marijuana.  Defendant was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
