On 12/3/09 victim's business was burglarized in Espanola, NM where bedroom furniture was taken along with other items.  On 12/5/09 while deputy was traveling south on US 84/285 he observed a vehicle selling new mattresses from the bed of a truck.  Deputy stopped and talked to suspect and also contacted Espanola Police Department who sent an officer to conduct a followup investigation.  Items were identified and returned to victim.  Espanola Police Department took over investigation.  Estimated amount of items recovered is $788.00.

Victim reported that on December 4, 2009 at approximately 11:00 p.m. a family member took his above listed vehicle without his consent and has not returned it.  The victim signed an stolen motor vehicle affidavit and the vehicle has been entered into NCIC.

Charges: DWI, Reckless Driving, No Proof of insurance

On 12/5/09, suspect was driving a 1991 Honda Accord, bearing NM plate# KBA-613, and was passing other motorists, in the turn lanes at a high rate of speed. Suspect was found to be intoxicated, and was arrested, charged, and booked accordingly. Breath tests were .09/.09

Victim reported that between 12:00 pm and 2:15pm on 12-5-2009 while she was attending church, an unknown person(s) broke the rear drivers side rear door window to her 2007 Jeep Liperty with an unknow object.  The suspect(s) removed a black bag from the back seat that contained misc. school paperwork.  No physical evidence was located at the scene.  No suspect(s) or witnesses at this time.

Victim reported that sometime between December 1, 2009 and December 4, 2009 an unknown person(s) gained unauthorized forced entry into her residence through the garage.  Victim advised that nothing appeared missing from the residence although noticed that some bank account documents had been moved.  Victim advised that she has checked with her bank and no unauthorized activity has been reported.  Further investigation into this matter is pending.

Victim: 53 year old male

 

On Dec. 5, 2005 at approx. 2:20 p.m. deputies responded to a residence at the above location in reference to an unconscious male.  Upon deputies arrival the above victim was located in bed deceased.  Family members who discovered the victim advised that they last spoke to him on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at about 5:00 p.m..  There were no signs of foul play and further investigation into this death are pending. 


0209010492/DWI, Motor Vehicle Crash/12/04/09

Suspect/Arrested: Hanry Hilliard (55 YOA) 78 Verano Loop, Santa Fe, NM 87508

Charges: DWI, Careless Driving, Leaving the scene of a crash, Immidiate Notice of Crash

 

Deputies responded to a report of a drunk driver who had driven away from the Eldorado supermarket in a green Isuzu Trooper.  A second report advised that the vehicle had crashed on Verano Loop and fled the scene.  Deputies located the vehicle parked at #78 Verano Loop and the above suspect was still sitting in the drivers seat of the vehicle.  The suspect was found to be highly intoxicated and was placed into custody.  The suspect was transported to St. Vincent Hospital and a legal blood draw was taken.  Results of the blood draw are pending.  Suspect was booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center on the above charges.

On 12-03-09  between 7:30am and 6:30pm, uknown suspect(s) pryed opened the front door to the residence. Once inside the suspect(s) removed the above items. Suspect information is pending at this time.

ON THIS DATE SUSPECT WAS INVOLVED IN A MOTORVEHICLE CRASH AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION.  SUSPECT THEN LEFT ON FOOT, BUT WAS LOCATED SHORTLY AFTER, HIDING IN SOME SHURBBERY.  SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO HAVE A SUSPENDED OR REVOKED DRIVERS LICENSE.  SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO BE INTOXICATED AND WAS ARRESTED.  AFTER SUSOPECT RECIVED TREATMENT FOR HIS INJURYS CAUSED BY THE CRASH HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER, WHERE HE WAS BOOKED
