Suspect:  Jose Marquez-Nieto, age 46, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Reckless Driving, Driving while license suspended

On 5/6/08 the above vehicle was observed traveling westbound on Airport Rd at the intersection of Lopez Lane.  Upon the above vehicle reaching the intersection of Calle Atajo, the vehicle began weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed.  A traffic stop was initiated.  Upon making contact with the driver, he displayed several signs of impairment.  Suspect submitted to SFST's in which signs of impairment were displayed.  Suspect was then arrested and agreed to submit to a breath test in which the results were .13 and .14.  Suspect was also found to have his license suspended.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.


Case#:  0208003737/ Driving while license suspended or revoked, Failure to obey sign, Child passenger restraint/ Date:  05/07/08

Location of arrest:  State Road 14 & Valle Vista Blvd.

Suspect:  Sergio Garcia-Flores, age 19, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Driving while license suspended/revoked, Failure to obey sign, Child passenger restraint

On 5/7/08 suspect while traveling eastbound on Valle Vista Blvd failed to stop for a stop sign prior to making a left turn onto State Rd. 14.  During the traffic stop it was discovered that a 4 year old child inside the truck was not properly restrained inside a child safety seat.  A check with the New Mexico Division of motor vehicle revealed that suspect's ID card was revoked with the attached arrest clause.  Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.


0208003709 Death Investigation 05-06-08

Location: Santa Fe County Road 119 South #26

On the above date, Deputies responded to the above location regarding a call of a female that was bleeding, unconcious and not breathing.  Upon arrival medic attempted lifesupport and were unable to revieve the female. Officers secured the scene and called the Criminal investigations Division, and they took over the investigaton.

Sometime between May 1 and May 5, unknown persons removed the above listed trailer without the owners permission . Vehicle entered into NCIC value of trailer $25,000.00

Sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., unknown persons gained entry throught the unlocked front door rummaged through the residence but it appears nothing was reported to be taken. No suspects are knoown at this time. Case pending.

Suspect: Female ex-girlfriend age unknown

Victim report his girlfriend took his vehicle without permission her where abouts are unknow, case pending.

Suspect/Arrested: Andres Archuleta 31 YOA 2083 Camino Lado Santa Fe, NM 87501

 

On 05-04-08 at approx. 10:00 pm the above subject was involved in a motor vehicle crash in the Pojoaque Terrace Mobile Home Park.  Subject fled the area and later crashed again at the above location.  Subject was visibly impaired and was transported by ambulance to the hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash.  Upon being released from the hospital the suspect was arrested and booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center on the charge of DWI.  A legal blood draw was obtained and the results are pending.

On 5-4-08 at approx. 5:43 pm a traffic stop was made with a vehicle at the above location for speeding.  Upon contact with the driver he was identified as the above listed suspect.  Suspect displayed several signs of impairment and submitted to field sobriety tests which he was unable to perform.  Suspect was arrested and submitted to a breath test.   Results of the tests were .10, .10 BrAc.

On May 3, 2008 a traffic stop was made with the above suspect as he was observed driving recklessly  at the above location.  Upon contact the subject showed several signs of impairment and admitted to taking prescription medication.  Subject was arrested and submitted to a blood test.  Results of the test are pending.  Subject was booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center on the charge of DWI and Driving on roadways laned for traffic. 


0208003670 Burglary 05-05-08

Location: 3 Hide Away Lane, Edgewood N.M.

On the above date, the above officer responded to the above location with regards to a report of a burglary.  Upon officers's arrival he met with the neighbor who advised that unknown person(s) shatterred the rear sliding glass door to the residence gaining access.  Upon entering, the suspect(s) went to the master bedroom and went through the cabinets and drawers.  The tenant identified as Mr. Huston was out of the State and it is unknown if any tiems were taken from the home.
