A wrong way driver was reported at above location. The vehicle was intercepted and the driver was found to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages.  A DWI Investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested.  The defendant refused to provide a breath sample and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Arrested: Juan Zambrano Vasquez, 37 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

The victim called 911 and reported that her husband had held her against her will inside their vehicle and was accusing her of being unfaithful.  The victim was battered and fled from the vehicle on foot, chasing the victim to the McDonald's restaurant on Airport Road and Calle Lucia.  The male was intercepted by Deputies and was arrested.  An emergency order of protection was authorized and served on the defendant prior to being booked into the county jail.

The above named suspect was involved in a domestic dispute over dinner.  The victim reported that the suspect had battered her. The victim displayed visible injury and the suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Victor Diaz, 58 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic battery in progress. Deputies arrived and the victim reported that the male had placed her in a head lock and had punched her on the top of her head.  Physical evidence was found and the suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Victim reported that between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on 05/24/09 an unknown peroson(s) made force entry into her vehicle and stole an I-Pod Nano, Dell Lap top computer, a speaker box with two twelve inch Jensen speakers and a JVC video camera.  Total estimated value of the items taken is $1,400.  No suspect or witnesses is available at this time.

Items stolen: 47" flatscreen TV, DVD player, VCR, valued at about $1900.00

Victim reported that on 5/22/09 some unknown person(s) reached through a doggy door and unlocked the front door and entered the residence. Once inside suspects stole the above items. No damage was reported at this time. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriffs Office.

On the above date, Officer were dispatched to the Los Alamos Police Department regarding Homicide suspect turning himself in.  Upon arrival, officers were greated by Los Alamos Police staff and the Defendant's Attorney.  Staff reliquished custody of the defendant to officers.  Suspect was transported and booked at he Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center on an arrested warrant prepared by the Santa Fe City Police.

On the above date, officer responded to the above location regarding a Motor Vehicle Crash.  Upon making contact with the driver, She displayed signs of impairment.  Defendant failed field tests and was arrested> The defendant refused to submit to breath test and was charged Aggravated.  She was transported and booked at the adult detention center.

On 5/23/09, 12:56 am , suspect was driving a 1996 Toyota Camry 4d, white in color, westbound on Old Las Vegas, and was stopped for speeding. Suspect was found to be impaired, and was arrested after field sobriety tests. Breath tests were .08/.08. Suspect charged, booked accordingly.

Location:  area of Azul Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado)

On Thursday May 21, 2009 victim reported sometime between 0845 and 1720 hours unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence through side door by breaking the deadbolt lock, possibly kicking in the door. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the residence and took above items. A receipt that was taped onto the television box was left behind and taken into evidence.   An itemized list of stolen items is pending at time of report. Estimated damage is about $500.00.
