The victim was traveling from Texas to Taos, NM and stopped at the Santa Fe Factory Outlet Stores to shop. While inside the stores, unknown person(s) burglarized his vehicle. The suspect(s) stole several electronic devices, including a laptop computer and two GPS travel devices. The suspect(s) also stole a .17 caliber Savage rifle.

Stolen: $300.00 worth of fraudulent charges on debit card
The victim reported that she noticed that $300.00 worth of charges were placed onto her checking account that she did not authorize. The victim investigated the charges and learned that someone fraudulently used her debit card number to charge for access to sexually adult sites on the internet.

Victim reported that his vehicle was broken into . The vehicle was parked infront of his residence. Several juveniles were seen in the area the same day as the burglary, carring a rifle.

On 2/18/08 the driver was travelling eastbound on the Old Las Vegas Highway at a high rate of speed. The driver went through a stop sign and struck another vehicle and continued east on Old Las Vegas Highway. Driver was found to be impaired and was arrested. Suspect was read NM Implied Consent in which a blood test was taken. Suspect was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect was stopped for speeding 67 mph in a 55 mph zone. Upon contact suspect displayed signs of impairment. He refused to perform the standardized field sobriety tests and would not submit to a breath test. Suspect was found to be on supervised probation. A triple I inquiry revealed that he had (4) prior DWI offenses on record.
